my car starts to give me the occasional, but noticeable jerk at times, esp when it's 50km'h or below. I really not sure what is causing it but really discomfort taking the jerks. could it be

- the accelerator starts to loosen or become not sensitive

- fuel filter becomes v dirty,must change

- that i used a btl of http://www.marvelmysteryoil.com/index.php/site/mmo/

- other reasons that i yet heard of

how long have you used your spark plugs without changing? i suggest removing the spark plugs to inspect visually.

Neutral Newbie

Could be the faulty spark plug... Misfiring

Encountered this problem couple of years back. Mechanic checking high and low for problem. Finally, change the spark plug and problem solved.

if plugs are fine, you might want to check the wires connecting to the spark plugs. Little crack on the insulation can let the voltage slip out.

i can now more or less confirm the jerking is after using the btl of marvel mystery oil. now the jerking noticeably less, probably the mystery oil washing off slowly

Sounds interesting, I was just commenting in the thread, Cheating Motor Workshop about something quite similar. Workshops will try to push products claiming that it will improve the performance and/or mileage but turns out to be useless in the end. One of the products mentioned was flushing of engine, done by workshop but not recommended anything in the manual. Is yours something similar to flushing or claim to clean the engine? [gossip]

is the jerking only when you car in stationary D mode?

if yes, could be the wire link to the spark plug.

that's happen to my swift few week back and spend few hundered to change it.

Can visit the marvel mystery oil website.....now the jerking almost gone. This is the the only additive that can be added to both the fuel and the engine oil........guess too thick for the fuel....cannot tahan.....pump few more times ok liao....scared...will avoid all these fuel additives in future.
