Hi all anyone can recommend a good but not too expensive tailor for shirt alteration

 

So far I found this place called Alteration Initiatives but price on the high side. Also heard of Michelle's Alteration at Far East Plaza.

Go to "7-mile" wet/hawker centre. There are a few tailors there - the aunty tailors. Go from one to another and ask for quotes. My experience is very favourable. You go and try.

What is the market price for shirt alteration? Cos I lost some weight and most of business shirts now become quite baggy liao. If alteration per shirt to new fit is less than $20, still can consider doing it rather than buying new ones.

i alter my shirts at tamp for less than $10 each. but this is just for the side and the sleeves. for new tailor made shirt, i paid abt $60 each.

I bought a larger T shirt, and the lady at 7-mile mkt alter it one size downwards, the cost was $4.

 

I alter jeans from baggy to slim cut, $5 and business shirts $4 (shorten sleeve and reduce size)

 

Only set back is, she takes in too many customers, and hence, most times could not make it on ime. So you have to bear with her.

I did my alternations at Alter Pro over at OUB Centre 2nd floor

 

They are a bit pricey - S$30 for a full alternation of shirts but they are good

Still got more shirts maybe csan try the 7 mile
