He rode a bicycle with a small stool and his sissors etc all hanged behind his seat.... if my mom wanted a haircut for me, this barber would straight away set up his 'barber shop' in one corner of the living room..... very convenient! The wanton mee seller was also mobile.... fried kuay teow man same also... my mom used to take her eggs from the kitchen and ask the kuay teow man add and fry them with kuay teow at the road side in front of where we lived.... he rode a tri-cycle with his mobile-kitchen onboard.... i think it's 50cent per plate/bowl ↡ Advertisement Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

He will come every month with his briefcase and small stool to my flat and go door to door. He will gave me a sweet after the haircut. Sweet memories from the past.
