Deep Scratch Restoration

I saw the ads by this company called Revol Carz Makeover, which claims to do deep sratch restoration. Anyone tried this service before ?

I checked with a groomer - as long as the white base can be seen, no amount of machine polish can restore. The best is repaint

Cannot be removed totally but should be able to hide it so that no one will be able to see it unless they know that it is already there and look very very closely.

May I know what is the diferences between remove and hide?

For hiding prolly they will use a glaze and a wax, removing is through compounding and polishing in turn leveling the paint work.

I meant hide as in use touch up paint then flatten, compound and polish it. So its the same color. Works very well on those flat paint but if the paint is those with flakes in it then can see one line without any flakes. But must look very closely lo.

Flatten as in wet sanding. Should not try if u have not practiced before. Need to use a machine to compound and polish after that also.

U would need a rotary polisher. DA wont be able to remove the wetsanding marks.

No. Wetsanding is done by hand. But if u want can use DA. But i never use DA cuz i scared sand too much. The rotary is to remove the sanding marks by compounding then polishing.

You recommend not to use DA machine because DA may sand too much compared to hand sand than rotary then I use rotary with compounding then i polish. Where to buy rotary machine, compounding and polish? Want to get rid one deep long scratch on my car.

Don't think u should try doing this urself if u are asking these questions. U will end up doing more damage.

Is there anything wrong with my questions. Don't know must ask, since you have answered most of them i presume you are an expert or unless you are unsure?
