Behaviour on escalator?

Not so much I think.

People usually think they are invulnerable when they are inside their cars.

But outside of it, not so much.

 

hmm..i see..a valuable perspective..can it be the "anonymity" inside a car gives rise to unruly behaviour on the roads?

I am actually far more impatient when walking and taking escalators than when driving. Maybe due to being used to the walking pace in HK. My friends always tell me it is a good thing I don't drive the way I walk I also get far more irritated with people who suddenly get in my way and then stop suddenly to look at something or block my way on the escalator if I want to pass; in contrast while driving I hardly ever get ruffled with other vehicles cutting me off abruptly or road hoggers. Of course, the irritation is only for a moment; can't do anything about it anyway.

 

But yes, even as a driver I will keep to the side of the escalator if I'm not walking. (Left in Singapore, right in HK)
