Hi bros & sis here,

I have been looking for a new job & have received an offer ffrom a company. In their offer letter, it stated as:

"We will be offering you as an XXX at a gross monthly salary of xxx on permanent establishment with 1-year trial."

As my understanding of english not too good, not sure what does this means. Is it a permanent job offer or it means they can terminate my employment if I not performing well within 1 year period?

Means probation 1 yr lor

some companies got no pay adjustment after probation.

however in this case, it is quite unfair, 6 months trial is ok. unless it states all benefits and increment with immediate effect upon confirmation.

Actually doesn't really sound like probation. More like contract for one yr then convert to tenure. Actually quite common nowadays. Even govt sector also mostly like that
