market price to respray 1 panel is around $100 to 200 depends of the damaged (3 yrs ago).. pricing should be still around there....

Shucks i tot will be 10 bucks or so. Think I drive wuth the scratch then, not very obvious. Just worry if will cause any issues like rust? Spreading to one corner tho whole body? What if i wash over the scratch? If I respray, will JB be cheaper?

U can try n go down to a few paint shops n try to ask them cos last time i got accident n sent for repair, they only touch-up the damaged area (about size of 50cent coin) n it looks quite good n hard to tell the difference.

Maybe u can get them to do a small touch-up for a lower price. Now ty can match the paint very closely cos ty just need to know the colour code only.

Of course not as good as paint the whole panel but I think thats what u r looking for.

My repair was covered/paid by my insurance co n I sent to a ws to do quite a lot of repair n re-spraying after an accident on my front end. Only a small corner n new bumper needed to b painted.

U can ask some paintshops n if they having a quiet period, ty might just take this small low profit work to cover costs as otherwise all workers sitting around drinking coffee.

when you buy a car, you should have some $$ to cover these type of things right? budget so tight? then better off not owning one

u cant spray 1 area... you will see patch of colour that doesnt blend to the rest of the panel... usually, when spray, they spray the whole panel eg, whole bumper, whole driver side door panel & etc...

and its not only spray, the painter prepare the damaged area before spraying the paint, eg he have to patch back the scratch part and then sand off a few times with different grade of sand paper to ensure that the surface is even and smooth before spraying.. the whole process could take an hour without considering time for the paint to dry...

for $10 to $20, the most you can get a toucvh up paint job... that may helps to prevent rust but trust me, presentation wise, its better to keep the scratch mark...
