Pay for driver with own van?

Just wondering, anyone has a rough estimate of how much a driver with own van should be paid per trip? Considering that the driver still has to pay for his diesel, servicing, van, etc.

i paid $40 for a lolly the last time with driver. 1 way trip just to transpot 1 exhaust pipe

My friend was paid for $1300/mth as a van driver..10am-7pm 5.5days/wk somemore van can drive home..
