The cork dries up at the upper top, so have to keep it moist, I have some bottles of wine in my cupboard,

some Whiskey etc.. people give one lah, gave a lot out before also. All have to keep lying down.

 

Yes very irritating problem.

I keep my bottles on the sides nowadays and rotate them once in a while.

Just to let all u guys know about those old unopened bottles of liquor. I tried to open a couple of bottles of old brandy n the damm cork broke off.

 

Keep too long n u must b very slow when u open it.

 

Another reason to b very careful is a GENIE might pop out, so b quick to catch it fr yr 3 wishes.
