Only read the first page of this thread and the point I'm gonna make is alluded to in the first post but not quite fully enough.

 

'Whisky' in general refers to scotch.

 

'Whiskey' in general refers to Irish whiskey.

 

Japanese whisky???????????

 

Scotch is distilled twice.

 

Irish whiskey is distilled three times.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong.

 

My favourite is Paddys which as you can guess is ...

 

 

Paddy comes from Dublin.

So many people mention whiskey in the political thread.. I am tempted to upz this thread... and annouce...

 

since this is a public holiday eve... I shall open a new bottle of Glenfiddich tonite..

anyone knows where to get Glenfiddich ??

 

the taste is absolutely unforgettable since i shared a bottle with a friend 2 yrs back

like a ONS that you just cant get out of yr mind

i got mine at DFS (where else, [rolleyes] ).

but there are various versions ...some taste better than others.

i got mine at DFS (where else, [rolleyes] ).

but there are various versions ...some taste better than others.

 

err... DFS ?

i presume besides airport, i can try the DFS in orchard right ?

 

are there any liquor stockists ?? like Denise Wineshop or The Straits Wine company type that stocks this stuff instead of wine ?

 

Wine no longer holds any attraction for me

 

thinking of buying a few bottles for my BBQ party next month

yeah... I am sure the standard liquor stockists like cold storage, etc stock these, but DFS when coming from airport is duty free. I think gotta pay a huge tax if buy from outside.

Denise whineshop and Straits Wine company are actually the same company... And they stock mainly wine....
