Manual cars are fun to drive

A learnt manual driver will not keep on stepping on the clutch or half clutch in severe jams. There are some techniques to use to free yourself from holding excessively onto clutch pedal. You can even travel in crawling traffic without hardly using brake (unlike auto) and without using too much half clutch.

You need to read the traffic and anticipate more than a auto driver, that's all.

I believe such drivers not properly trained in driving. Better attend refresher driving lessons.

I'm an ex manual driver... used to Drive the AE86, EP80 and AT190... all manual.... until one day(2 months ago), I got caught in a jam from the state line of north Johor... and took 3.5 hours to get from Northern Johor...to Johor Bahru.....

I couldnt walk.... cause of the BLOODY CRAMP on my left leg due to clutching in and out........ [bigcry]

More likely cramp due to dehydration, not the manual gears. I can believe if you say fatigue, but not cramp.

I think those whose right leg get tired after getting stuck in a long jam with auto car must be those who don't want to give way. So every time the front car move he has to faster floor the accelerator then jam brake again. [laugh]
