Ok Viper only looks good in full black imho.

By the way certain points to note..

your gear stick. Ken u manual right? Do note that with lower seat position, whole driving dynamics might change. Right now with my SSS stock seats, gear stick is just beside my thigh, which is the best in my opinion. Also, the seat belt bracket at your left hip will be protruding higher now, read that it might be an issue for comfort too.

Do take note.

thanks for your input... [:)]

yup manual... did take into account the seat belt... my car can adjust the belt higher n lower... but think even if highest will still protrude but should be ok bah... but never thought of the gear stick... actually since day one of this present car i've been trying to find a short shifter... even sent emails to companies in Japan also dont hv... in the US got short shifter for Sentra but the US Sentra is different from the rest of the world so dont know if will fit anot... so gave up on looking for one... even my gear knob is dead one piece with the stick.. heard the only way to change my knob is to saw the stick...

so i left it alone till now... have a genuine momo gear knob from my previous car sitting in my store room but cant install without sawing the stick... [:(]

so guess if the gear stick is too high uncomfortable wierd position i will try to get used to it for a while if worst come to worst i guess i will saw the bugger... [laugh]

suprisingly yes... much more than bucket seats which are crazy to use for long distances...

Viper looks good... but there are always pros and cons of such seats. They are popular now because of trends, not because we really need them, as with most asthetic mods.

Pros:

1. Looks good and sporty (Dependent on what car you drive, and it doesn't make you go any faster)

2. Hugs the body well especially when doing hard cornering (would you go round a corner at 100km/hr? Unless you track..)

Cons:

1. Cumbersome to get in and out of such seats (most end up damaging the butt support portion, but there are protectors for those)

2. Need to find storage space for your original seats (or sell off at dirt cheap price)

3. Poor resale value (you can find tons such seats and other replicas in car forums, selling for half the original price)

4. Poorly fabricated brackets and rails may result in unwanted creaks and sounds

For your considerations, but seriously, if you must install these, get the reclinable type and not the bucket ones. You wont enjoy the posture before long.

Just my 2 cents worth

Btw, does anyone has any problems with LTA inspection with these aftermarket seats?
