not much different mah, here we get 2.3.3...

My LG P500 also upgraded to 2.3.3 - I regretted it because it takes up more memory and slowed the performance.

The Apps Market takes longer to load, and using some apps also slower...

I think Gingerbread 2.3 needs Min 1.0GHz to run...

yeah if i have shitload of apps running every now and then, i will agree with you. but the problem is, nothing is running and yet its slow like hell. -_- and i am only running Office apps nia.

basically, its just slow like s--t. even my 3GS running on IOS4 is much faster. than my Galaxy Tab [:(]

How did you check?

I noticed that when you check for running apps under Task Manager and when you check for running services under Settings, you see different things. I usually use the latter approach to kill apps of which their services are running.

normally i do what Jman do. clear memonry and kill active apps..

tonight i go see the setting..

hope that is the reason..

the lack of smoothness is killing me after using my wife Ipad2 [laugh]

still hope for Tab 7.7 to hit the shore sometime next year May..

If i am not wrong, that is the only 7" tab with 3G enable.

I have not done it for quite some time, but my rather old android phone can run as a hotspot and receive calls BUT once I am talking, the mobile data will stop. Drove me crazy when I was at customer site and I had to constantly choose between losing internet connection and making phone calls.

Everyone should just go ahead and get the Samsung Galaxy Note. It is awesome!

Yeah I was so tempted to trade in my S2 for the NOTE. I will need to top in $450. Saw the screen and speed of the graphics....beautiful.

But the size is quite big....definitely putting that thing in the pocket is errr......weird.

Your car reads mp3 files via USB? If yes, then you need to set your device as "USB Storage" mode (Settings>Wireless and Network>USB Utilities) first before plugging in the USB cable.
