Cybernation Neutral Newbie July 10, 2011 Share July 10, 2011 Nowadays they take pic after they impose the fine. Ask for evidence. I've appealed for a similar case an got it waived. Some of the white rats are just blind!! ↡ Advertisement

Alvinnoob 1st Gear July 10, 2011 Share July 10, 2011 Just appeal, such are the best cases. Just remember to be tactful and humble... Not to burn future bridges.
Phang79 Neutral Newbie July 10, 2011 Share July 10, 2011 They will also slapped you a $50 fine if they suspect that the tabs are folded.
Slowman 2nd Gear July 11, 2011 Share July 11, 2011 season parking doesn't have to be red line only. take my house car park for example, it's for season parking holders only even though there's only 10 red lots in like over a 100 parking lots. mostly still white lots. best is still read the signboard at entry. I believed you are referring to night parking
Slowman 2nd Gear July 11, 2011 Share July 11, 2011 Talking about carpark warden. Pui!!!! I once parked my car in normal lot and placed a coupon from 8 30pm to 9 30pm, drove off to makan and back at 10 30pm and placed a $2 night parking coupon (Did not removed the initial 8 30pm coupon) Next morning I saw a summon issued at 11 30pm stated "no coupon between 9 30 to 10 30pm". (Now they can even back date the fine). I wrote to HDB, they reply cannot waive. I called HDB HQ, they ask me why never put coupon. Out of anger I challenged the gondoo to proof that my car was in that parking lot during the hour of the summon. Continue to call HDB branch and they taichi here and there until a DID line where never pick up. 1 week later, HDB HQ wrote me an email say out of goodwill waive off the fine. Damn pissed off with their reply and replied them out of good will I accept but I am also willing to pay the $30 for all of them to buy some brain food. They are totally useless!!! I believed they are working on commission!!!

I am no government supporter, but we ought to be fair with our criticisms. In this case, you should feel thankful to HDB rather than angry. Ruriiman, as long as you have one tab unused, you can exchange the coupon for a new one at HDB town office.

Dont u know that if you remove the old (expire) coupon for that day, u will incur higher FINE? Example : 12pm with S$1 coupon (still on dashboard). Kana summon at 2.30pm without valid or expired coupon is only S$20 FINE If you dont even place a coupon for that day, thei FINE is S$30 (not including night summon) Edited July 11, 2011 by Mcf777

Aaron_soh80 1st Gear July 11, 2011 Share July 11, 2011 Wow, thanks for all the help. I emailed to URA. I parked head in. is in Kallang... the bus interchange and is not season parking. if it is.. u would see is a red line. Also i parked head in. I think that goondu was at the back of my car thinking it was the front. Until he complete the ticket, no choice he cannot cancel.. he has to go to the "front" of the car to place the ticket. Copen stupid design is rear and front looks similar if you dun pay attention. I like copen.. is soooo cute..

He had a valid coupon but was fined because he failed to remove the expired ones. He would not be fined at all if he removed the expired coupons. These days, people really have short attention span.
