probably there were tire screech sound plus horn (?) that provided early warning that something was very wrong.. if not.. all become flat

There must have been lots and lots of tire screech and then crazy screams!!! I don't know how I would react in a situation like that...

she's facing the traffic, she can see and avoid.

i'd think the really lucky one is the guy (or lady?) in black.. if she has been slower a bit, she'd have [angel]

both were lucky but the lady had some pretty good reflex to escape that

that's why must support diesel engine! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diesel_engine :

Diesel fuel is considered safer than petrol in many applications. Although diesel fuel will burn in open air using a wick, it will not explode and does not release a large amount of flammable vapor. The low vapor pressure of diesel is especially advantageous in marine applications, where the accumulation of explosive fuel-air mixtures is a particular hazard. For the same reason, diesel engines are immune to vapor lock.

Glup. Scary. This is the reason why you should never speed in a neighbourhood area. Alot of unexpected cars will just pop out and u wont have enough time to react even if u are in the right of way.

Sometimes i wonder in this kind of situation, is it better to hit straight on or to swerve and try to avoid =(
