Zig Zag line

yellow zig zag lines are put for good reasons, but some ppl will just dont bother and still park... considering such such offense involves demerit points if found guilty... will you report it to LTA or bo chap ?

this is almost a daily affair infront of the Gaincity store beside LOT 1. Despite summons, I think most ppl who park at the zig zag line there don't really care.

seen it everyday. I don't think it has to do with rich people. It usually involve half-wits.

Another area with this problem is at Bishan st 13 right infront of a coffeeshop and NTUC fairprice. Have zig-zag lines but still can see a whole row of cars parked there to go buy groceries or food. Even LTA don't do anything. Heard from some grassroots members that in a meeting with LTA they raised the issue but till now nothing is done. Every weekend that road has heavy traffic cuz of people going to junction 8. They just make it worse as it becomes only 1 lane when people park at the side.

As it is just before the bus interchange it also makes it very dangerous to drive there as the buses have to keep changing lanes to avoid those parked there. Called TP hotline many times and LTA many times but so far only seen once when a TP came. But he did not summon them. Just turn on his siren a while then see all the drivers faster moving off then he go off already.

This is the problem.

When law enforcer dont take action, people take advantage.

When law enforcer take action, people appeal (you can see from forum so many tom & their dicks appeal against something which is their own fault).

Dont even have the balls to admit to their mistakes.
