No need to change the wipers, change the wiper blade at $10 with installation. Look for Richard from E-Rev @ 91125406.

Turbocharged

its quite a hassle changing the blades instead of the whole thing right?

actually, quite easy.. just pull out the rubber can liao.. 5 min job..

Civic FD's wiper is designed along with the aerodynamic shape of the car in mind, so changing the whole wiper assembly will somehow "spoil" the aerodynamics, although i think the effect is quite insignificant..

Ya, very simple and i changed it on the spot upon purchased.

Steps:-

- Pull out the blade (s) from the right bottom of wipers and there's a "convex" rectangle (that helps the blades in proper seating position)

- just pull straight

- transfer the 2 side rectangle metal plates (that helps to keep your blade straightening when in position) onto new blades

- pull the new baldes from right to left thru the side slots of blades till new blades sit into the "convex" rectangle area (This "convex" retangle slot MUST be on your right)

- ensure baldes porper setting position

- continue with the other wiper changing with same steps.

Wow, $22 for a pair of blades is real cheap.

Welcome. For my wiper blades of same materials purchase from BMS will costs around S$ 38 to S$ 45 before GST. (The parts Storekeeper will install FOC)

Guys, don't ever throw / dispose your used wipers assembly (The 2 metal pieces) as it's designed to be aero efficiency and buying a new set of wiper assembly will cost you over S$ 50/set (from spare shops -- NOT BMS as BMS even more costier) and replacing of wiper blades will costs you just S$ 22 before GST can save some $ and save the earth too (Save rubbish / waste) !!

The length of the CIVIIC FD's wiper blades are not identical. One of them 650 mm and the other one is 575 mm. I replaced my blade once at KM, it costs me $25.02 (before GST) for a pair.

Most car wiper bladers havng different in length as long as you inform the shopkeepers your car model & year, they'll supply you the correct parts (Veerasamy Rd have few parts shops selling parts for difference brands of auto cars & truck).

You can check with Thian Seng at Waterloo St. They should have Honda original, as well as equivalent NWB ones. I recently got the NWB ones, not too expensive (about $25 for the longer one and $15 for the shorter one, iirc) and looks fancier than my Honda originals.

If I'm not wrong, KM charges $20 plus per piece, not for a pair.
