another big tree fallen at same road

 

tonite the same stretch of road another big old tree fallen & hit a taxi again

guess NEA didn't come and check the trees after the first incident

its v obvious the trees there are not stable any longer

 

its so dangerous for both pedestrians n drivers

 

climate change is evident

i see it differently from u... from the pic, I see the roots of that tree is not long and strong enuff to penetrate into the earth, thus cannot support itselfsin such weather

Correct.

 

From the thickness of the earth pulled up, it's obvious that the original contractor did not provide enough soil depth and density for the roots to grow and anchor properly. All these specifications are spelt out in the Master-plan.
