159er 5th Gear November 17, 2011 Share November 17, 2011 oh i also gave 2 cards..if not hw they credit the smiles points.. What i noticed so far for giving just my CC, the receipt itself at the bottom still indicates my Smiles points balance therefore i assuming that my Smiles acct is being tied to the CC. When the cashier took 2 cards, did they do anything with your Smiles card? ↡ Advertisement

Nf0rc3r 1st Gear November 17, 2011 Share November 17, 2011 What i noticed so far for giving just my CC, the receipt itself at the bottom still indicates my Smiles points balance therefore i assuming that my Smiles acct is being tied to the CC. When the cashier took 2 cards, did they do anything with your Smiles card? They will swipe ur smiles card first. If they swipe ur cc first ur smiles card bundled with ur CC is automatically used. When u cancel the CC u have to stupidly use it as a smiles card which I dont like so I use a seperate smiles card.

Keenblade Clutched November 18, 2011 Share November 18, 2011 So essentially, they reduced their "membership" discount which is akin to SPC lowering their "SPC&U" discount. Still... the 8% by credit card is still scary, if SPC drops their promo 10% on their membership card and it's a credit card discount comparison, few can beat the DBS Esso card.
