Will there be a new model XV next year?

Yes, definitely. But not sure when will they launch in SG.

One of the reason I went on to get this model now is because of this too. Last few batches, more goodies and less worries as most of the flaws had been resolved over these years.

MI dropped $2K off from today till Wednesday for VX, $102,800 (other models too). Predict that COE will fall this time round again? But i see more people in the showroom. Wednesday, we will know the answer.

anyone has any issue with Start-Stop function? Mine doesnt not seem to work anymore today.

Time to replace the battery. Happened to me as well, start-stop lasted only 2-3s and after battery replaced, all back to normal.

I know that the XV now come with 7" audio system with the  Garmin GPS, is the audio look the same as my attached picture?attachicon.gif2016_XV_Interior_7-Inch_Infotainment_System.jpg

For local HU, For the touch buttons on the left, Map is replaced by Phone and Apps is replaced by Settings. Local HU is rather basic. No apps or starlink.

Neutral Newbie

Centre Of Gravite to SUV, like XV, still pose this danger but with many years of RnD, manufacturer reduce this percentage significantly. Drive, to me, very personal bcos depend on how heavy your foot or what you want from the ride.

Saw the latest pricelist from MI, drop $3K to $104,800! So sad, i paid $3K more. lol

Hi bros,

First post here. Have been following this thread here for sometime. Many gd posts that helped me make a final decision between QQ and XV. Finally got the XV because of design, handling , safety and most importantly wife said she will feel more confident driving it( she is still learning and needs more confidence). FC was a concern but one cannot have it all and QQ's FC is while better, also not that awesome either. Only Vezel but wife felt the rear view was too small.

I started speaking to MI in February this year and similar to some bros I was offered 93k for 8 bid non-guaranteed. But I wasn't ready then so I declined. I did feel however the deal was very good and that MI was trying increase market share at that point. Recently my SE and I reconnected and I signed at 99.8k (6 bid on-guaranteed) after financing/car trade in/insurance discounts. I admit that I was disappointed they could not give much stuff, apart from blackvue cam, car mats, solar , umbrella & 6 mth servicing, they gave me $400 rebate.

Since then the first round COE was 51.5k, and since I entered at 50k they didn't execute. Does any one have the experience where MI did not fulfill the 6bid non-guaranteed because the COE prices kept climbing?

I was reading the reviews for this car. I realised most good reviews come from owners whilst the bad ones from non owner.

A few key dislike but differ from different people. Key dislike is power. I wonder if this remark is based on comparing with Vessel and QQ? FC is quite certain to be lower than the 2 models.

The way the market goes these days, don't think Cat A will go up dramatically. So not to worry about your NG COE, only in the matter of time.

COE quota for Nov16-Jan17 will be know soon(this week?), the numbers shld remain the same or slight changes or else, it'll be another different world. Those sitting on the fence dying to know too.

Bet all XV owners went through this - compare Vezel/HRV/QQ or/and even other mades. But not the other way round. Not all other ride owners will get to know (or want to know) XV during their stage of purchasing. Reason, ask them or the below reasons.

We jolly well know about the slightly poorer FC (XV can get 15km/l too), slightly dated exterior fitting (FL 2016 did change this, i hope) and many more?? But what we got are AWD, boxer engine, 5 * safety, sound-proof, AD,  and many more too. Price as compare to Vezel/HRV/QQ, XV is a few K to ten K cheaper for the same spec.

Lastly, the rarity on the road is one mopre reason I went for XV.
