Neutral Newbie

I will be going there on the 3rd day of Chinese New Year. Going there from KL by mini van. I guees Genting is going to be very crowded during that period. But my main concern is the traffic, wondering how is the traffic condition, especially when travelling on the mountain slope to the Genting? Or worst, it already started to jam from KL along the way to there?

Anyon had experience travelling to there during Chinses New year? How is the traffic? :o

wah bro, i really hope you will enjoy yourself during this super peak season. as for me, i had a really bad experience. jams, looking for parking (hopefully mini van not yours so you dont have to worry about this), looking for a place to makan also can be a difficult task, the whole place is just packed. if you can tolerate the inconviniences, you might enjoy your trip.

all the best and have a safe trip...

[pirate] i am genting themepark king [pirate]

the most value for money is to get the theme park annual pass. the breakeven point is 2 days. meaning if within 1 year, you intend to go more than 2 days, best is buy annual pass. if you got genting worldcard, the annual pass is slightly cheaper a bit.

Does anybody knows if its cheaper to book theme park tickets online or buy directly off the booth? Tks

Buying online is cheaper. You can go online and compare the price.

However, buying online you have to indicate the date. So you have to bear the risk of bad weather. Even raining, you have to go and play also or else the $ wasted.
