Firework blows off man

IN a horrifying incident on the first day of the Lunar Dragon Year (Jan 23), a newly married man, By Shaow Yong, 26, was instantly killed in Kota Kinabalu after a malfunctioned firework suddenly exploded in his face when he went to check it.

 

By had placed two three-inch fireworks shells

good thing that fireworks are outlawed here ... else many more would be victims of such pyrotechnics ... since SG is such a small place.

Its also banned in Malaysia actually.. The law is in place but their police do not seem to enforce it..

Darwin's theory at work here... Never ever put explosive material in a confined metal container unless you have intention of killing someone (yourself included)!
