It's ok for me. Anyway, I'm planning to take up 3-4 year loan and the rest cash out front. That will help to reduce interest of 3.3%.

doesnt quite go with your investment perspectives and strategies leh....

hhhmmm very unlike you

Yup. This is what though so, after the test drive. The C180 handling and pick is better than that of the 1 series.

I have to disagree ..... I switched from E90 to W204 ... and I still miss the drive of the E90....

I almost sign on the line for the 116i ..... as PML was prepared to take in the W204 at a very good price .... at the end, I did not change becos of "space". The W204 is a sedan and the 1 series is a hatch ....

IMO, BMW still have the edge in terms of handling and drivability of the car compared to Merc.... BMW is still a sportier drive. I dont think that the new C180K has the start/stop technology..... I am not sure.

If I am looking at a second car .... my choice 118i ....btw the 1 series also has the start/stop technology ..... the interior of the new BMW - F10, F20 and F30 have improved tremendously over the E60, E90, E87 ... and i love the new BMW gear stick ... damn cooool.

At the end, it is your choice ....

You cannot measure money, when you are buying for your love ones. And you cannot earn the world money into the account. This is intangible, which is very individual. I had it and time to ripe some fruits with a little enjoyment. Anyway, I don't need to pay a single cent for this car and it funded by the profit from my sale of property last year. [:)]

Your thread title and poll options don't match leh.

C180K is 1.6 SC (no start-stop engine)

C180 is 1.8 TC

116i and 118i are both 1.8 TC and with start-stop engine.

At net $150K+, you should be comparing C180K with 116i.

At net $170K+, it's the C180 vs 118i.

So we follow the thread title, or your poll options?

Your initial character and your current replies are total stand-offs from each other.

does not show of an intelligent matured man of 40 at all

so it's very clear to me that you are either a bull-shi$tter or have serious split personality

like (leepee, chemmie, sabbie etc)

Either ways, am writing you off.

That doesn't matter to me of what you want to do. Anyway this post is meant for discussion of the 2 models that I am looking at. [wave]

The COE was sky high. Have just pull back from planning to buy a C180. Would rather channel this new money to investments. [rolleyes]

The C180 handling and pick is better than that of the 1 series.

On top of that,

Ride / Comfort = C180

Size = C180

Sedan + boot = C180

Full-leather seats = C180

So Chevrolet also sama sama made in Korea what!

Yup. The body is Korea made under GM supervision . What matters most, is the engine from Opel(German made). My old reliable Altis, also made in Thailand under Toyota supervision. Initially, ppl laugh at me for buying a Thai made car. But it have proven to be a reliable one. After 5 years, not a single parts I change. Accept a right brake pad, after 195,000km.

Some people cannot accept Thai made Jap cars but can accept African made German cars

I wait for the day BMW for Spore comes out from Malaysian plant
