Jdm_ss Neutral Newbie May 3, 2012 Share May 3, 2012 anyone can guide me how to enter the highway if i need to pump petrol at bhp (at the start of tebrau road) before heading up the highway? what should be the correct way to KL nshw? thanks all. Sphwee 1st Gear May 3, 2012 Share May 3, 2012 Is it the same exit to E22 or is there a direct link to E22 ? You will have to exit to travel towards Kota Tingi along Jalan Pandan first and join E22 at Ulu Tiram.
Sphwee 1st Gear May 3, 2012 Share May 3, 2012 Thanks. I would have thought they could have linked it to E22, but guess both were not planned to join. Depends on where you are coming from. There are people who use Tuas 2nd link and travel all the way up to Senai to use E22 to head to Desaru even though distance is longer and higher toll fee. See attached map that shows E22 highway entry and exit point.
Opel17 6th Gear May 11, 2012 Share May 11, 2012 Went to AEON [Jusco] TC today via the EDL. The information provided in this thread is very useful, as this is my first time using the EDL. The signboard for the TC exit show "Kota Tinggi, Mersing, Hospital....." . Just a very short distance before the TC exit, there is an exit with signboard "Bandaraya, Tebrau, ....." The EDL is indeed a very good link to TC, and the NSH. Coming back, I made a terrible blunder. On the EDL back approaching the JB CIQ, there is an overhead sign "Lori, Motosikal, Kereta, Bas" across the lanes. I followed the lane "Kereta" [2nd lane from right], but ended right up to where the Polis table is stationed. The Policeman waved me over toward the table. Me : sorry sir, I made a wrong turn. Polis : please give your IC or license. Me : why leh, you want to summon me ? Polis : of course have to summon you, because you drive to wrong place, this is for staff only. I taking out license, the policeman walk to table to take his green vest. Polis : you want summon or don't want summon ? Me : ok, summon lah, no choice. Because I first time drive here, blur lah. Sorry. Polis : return license, ok give you one chance, reverse back there. [He and colleague help to guide me back into the correct way back.] Me : sorry, thank you. * luckily for me, the policeman did not try to be harsh on me. It puzzle me how I took the wrong way. Opel17 6th Gear May 11, 2012 Share May 11, 2012 I can take this route to Tebaru City's Jusco correct? how to exit to the shell petrol station if i parked at Jusco? I think you are referring to the Shell station which is on the same side as JUSCO TC and Tesco TC. In this case, you can top up at this Shell station before parking at Jusco or Tesco. The advantage : going back after Jusco/Tesco, you can take the "alternative" route passing the Hospital..... with only 1 traffic light junction. Instead of the "flyover U turn" with 4 traffic light junctions.
Davekiat Clutched May 12, 2012 Share May 12, 2012 Took EDL to Desaru today. Very fast, reach Desaru in 1 hour. On my return, took about 90 mins as there was traffic at the custom. I reckon you would take only 15 mins from custom to Jusco Terbau City.

Opel17 6th Gear May 13, 2012 Share May 13, 2012 sorry so if going jesco TC should exit 'Kota Tinggi' or before 'Kota Tinggi exit (Bandaraya,Tebrau)' going jesco (jusco + Tesco) TC, should take exit Kota Tinggi (signboard also show Mersing, Hospital...) This exit is very shortly after the Kota Tinggi exit (Bandaraya,Tebrau -- going to Pelangi direction).

Jflcorp Neutral Newbie May 13, 2012 Share May 13, 2012 anyone can guide me how to enter the highway if i need to pump petrol at bhp (at the start of tebrau road) before heading up the highway? what should be the correct way to KL nshw? thanks all. Very simple, did that once, fairly easy. Like you I also prefer BHP petrol. Ok, after pumping at the first BHP station, Tebrau Road, you U turn back to Woodlands CP, just before entering JB customs, you keep left most and turn left at the last traffic light going to Stulang Darat, you will be travelling under the elevated expressway for a few minutes, then there will be an up ramp to the EDL....
