yeah engage lawyer only for injury claims.

 

Car wise let the workshop settle. I plan for 3rd party, if really can't then really lan lan OD.

 

This driver also chut pattern, call never answer, sms also no reply. Based on this know liao lor what type of driver.

 

Lesson learnt, should get him to sign on the spot he bang me with a simple letter.

Do you know when you ask WS to do 3rd party claims they also engage lawyer to help them process or fight liability?

Seems like you don't understand the reasons of engaging a lawyer in traffic claims. Not suing the other party, but fight liability. Why you want to sue the other party for?

Without video or witnesses, nobody will care what speed or what TS is doing. Left turn on a straight going lane is already 100% at fault.

 

And this case where TS car almost totalled, the more you should seek the advice from a lawyer specialise in this field.

 

Can just email the details to lawyer or went down to his office for a quick chat, he will decide whether he will represent you.

 

The fees only few hundreds dollars from our side as the losing side will bear more of the legal cost.

 

This fees will be deducted from the inconvience fees he fight for you from the other party insurer.

I was involved in such an accident b4.. also Honda city.. same generation some more!! but i only collide with the VAN.. never mount kerb or bang tree.

 

In my case... I happen to get a few witness who is the car behind me and also a pedestrian. So it was paid 100% by the VAN insurance. It pays to quickly take photo of the cars around at that time if can so that you can contact those guys in case you need a witness. And also ask the pedestrians.. you will be surprise.

 

But my only surprise is how you end up there.. and you have pictures of the damage to the other vehicle?

I just called up the IO, and told him wah this guy report like that oh. Totally conflict with the actual scenario.

 

He told me relax man, take a good rest we know who is at fault.

 

But i will still like to get a lawyer purely for injury claims, it's common for people to do that.

 

Workshop/ Insurance still use their own lawyer to fight car claims, and car owners engage own lawyer for injury.

 

Engaging a lawyer also adds strength becos it will fasten certain process or reports to be get. It adds some omph to people who knows that we like green horn.

For injury claim.. the WS/insurance lawyer can also help. My case the lawyer help me claim everything including medical and lost of use.
