A person of Chen's quality is ministerial calibre, if he had join MIW.

 

Yet he chose the hard way, the opposition way to serve the country.

 

Obviously that speaks volume.

 

Looking at what MIW has to offer are paper generals and admirals.

yes i think most sillyporean only hear what they want to hear..because they also believe what they believe...road hogging is wrong but speeding is "ok"...they don't dare to say right...sometime wrong means wrong...nothing to say liao...they say nevermind...let pple "ka ki gong ka ki song"... You must repeat this to pxp mps who pocket the same 15k every month. Dont forget those ministers who pocket millions....... why you no ask them? in fact they 'rule' the country, their tangible contributions, not empty promises, are much needed, they owe it to the people... unless those, including yourself, who supported them are not bothered with their performance after voting them in, which looks like the case... giving them a blank cheque without checking if they deliver

 

maybe train breakdown, floods, run-away public housing prices, etc are considered superb results

I am pro Singapore 100% and want the best for her and it's people's ... political parties notwithstanding.

Except for the FT numbers depriving me of my personal space nearly everywhere, I am quite happy with the status quo. Example: runaway COE prices is for a very good reason - to manage and even, eventually clear our road situation (once vehicular growth is curtailed and brought to negative).

 

So I will continue with my oppo bashing, on what I continue to see as a sad lacking in them.

Hopefully they can come up to speed and as a TRUE world class alternative, quickly enough.

 

But don't get me wrong, you can continue with PxP bashing too - it means nothing to me though

May I add one "small" point:- in a dynasty, its not the change of guard, it's passing of "inheritance" to the next generation.

 

Another equally small one:- the more pxp's supporters flood them with praises and "loyal" supports, the more pxp is decieved into believing they can do no wrongs, only the alternative parties are wrong.

I had seen a couple of them. The tears were exchanged for bags of rice in return.

 

So technically, they were crying for their rice.
