AllenHui 1st Gear July 10, 2013 Share July 10, 2013 good drive indeed, went for the driving experience last weekend. but its too high price to change a car now, for me. (yes, im not that well to do to change cars as and when I like.)

13177 Hypersonic July 10, 2013 Share July 10, 2013 Look good But the present model better. Agreed, also prefer the design of the previous forte than the new K3.
Vitaminc1231 2nd Gear July 10, 2013 Share July 10, 2013 Agreed, also prefer the design of the previous forte than the new K3. Have you seen the real car or just photos? I think previous one is ugly but this one is nice. Anyway look is to each its own la.

Vitaminc1231 2nd Gear July 10, 2013 Share July 10, 2013 I heard my SE said Top-Up $15k.. To be honest, K3 is value for money....when it was 90K. If need to go above 100K, I think some people will switch brand. I know K3 has more features but as it's new car, how good the performance, quality n durability, no one knows... On the other hand, some people may think the specs/material/workmanship to be behind conti or jap. If I have to buy this car at around 120K, I will seriously thinking switch to Ford Focus, the drivi experience is much better and few will argue Focus is safer car. I may even fork out more and straight go i45/K5.

Some people might argue that might as well fork out even more and can buy conti liao?! Sometimes there is no end on this. Cause there is no right or wrong, and everyone have their own preference and views.

Cause there is no right or wrong, and everyone have their own preference and views. 1st of all, if someone has a budget of 180-200k, they will be looking at Audi/Merc/BMW. If one has a budget of 150K, it is possible to stretch further and go for above. If one's budget is 120K, to stretch it to 150K is 30K, still possible. If they can stretch even further, then let's be honest, they won't start with K3. Same thing, if one budget is 90K, then yea maybe he will top up 15K for it. But maybe he will not too. I will not though.
Vitaminc1231 2nd Gear July 10, 2013 Share July 10, 2013 the K3 in the flesh seems bigger The wheelbase is the same as elantra, but somehow I feel elantra is bigger even. Interior wise, K3 still beat Elantra in my view. Too bad the coe is killing this car. What a shame.
Ichibawa 5th Gear July 10, 2013 Share July 10, 2013 Saw this car on the road in China last year. Looks OK but I think everything underneath the cover are similar to the old one.

Too bad the coe is killing this car. What a shame. Interior seems like K3 looks better than elantra, at least there is an air-con ventilation for rear seats. Although coe now is high but there are still people buy this car lo. Like when elantra launched back then, coe also not low and yet still many people buy. Forte3737 5th Gear July 10, 2013 Share July 10, 2013 i think its gonna be a bestseller for CNC. locals are now used to paying 120k for a basic car.

For those people who can afford a car, and if they want to buy or change car, they will still buy despite of the high car price now. I know a few person also got a car with COE range between 50K to 70K. ↡ Advertisement
