Chuan247 Neutral Newbie November 29, 2012 Share November 29, 2012 Can anyone advise me pls. Im driving 2006 model Altis. My 15inch tyres are gonna wear out. My rims also have scratches. Intend to change to 16 inch rims and tyres. I heard the fuel consumption will be higher. Anyone can advise me how much higher will the fuel consumption be? Currently, my fuel consumption is about 12km/litre. Currently, I'm using Yokohama S drive. Compare to toyo T1R, which one is noisier? Or any other good model n model? T1R definitely better in terms of grip and handling. S-Drive not on the same level. FC will increase due to the weight and more surface contact between road and tires but give and take la bro! Redboy 1st Gear November 30, 2012 Share November 30, 2012 maybe 11.5 but u find braking and take off much longer just curious, when you mention that braking and take off much longer, do you mean that braking distance will increase and pickup will be slower if upgrade from 15" to 16"? If that's the case, I understand that pickup is slower due to increased size but for braking distance?? ↡ Advertisement
