OK! As promised, some pics i just took.

But first, some background info, the car in question, is a used 5 year old 1 series. As far i can tell, no special grooming done prior to our ownership. Or at least, nothing recent. And i'm not a professional groomer, just a weekend car washing freak. No DA used, all detailing products applied by hand.

 

Washing history, i washed last week, i used a hose and foam gun to wash the car. Using the foam gun on one hand and a wash mitt on the other working together.

Atfter the wash, soaped up the car and clayed it. Dried off with a microfiber towel after. Dodojuice limeprime pre-wax cleaner was next and after that i applied AMMO skin.

After Ammo skin, i used Dodojuice Purple haze to finish it off. Mid-week, i rinsed the car down with water and wiped it dry using AMMO Hydrate.

 

Today i washed it with the foam gun and wash mitt, dried it up using AMMO Hydrate and after that, used another layer of AMMO Skin on top to finish it off.

 

Stuff used today:

2 buckets

2 wash mitts

1 hose (now leaking *arrrgh* )

1 foam gun

1 sponge applicator

AMMO foam wash

AMMO Hydrate

AMMO Skin

 

 

Here's the pictures. Taken not in the best conditions as sky was getting dark and it poured right after i got back into the car after the last shot. :(

The rain did allow me to see how the water just beaded off the car though.

Still managed to catch what little sunlight there was. I'm very very happy with the results.

Immediately after that last roof shot, i go into the car and this happened. So back home i went. The wash-car curse strikes again

 

 

To say i'm happy is an understatement, the results for the $$$ spent is really really good. Granted it might not match up to the big boy grooming centres but for a hobbyist without access to any electrical tools, i'm very very pleased with the outcome. I'm not going to say you must buy this, and you might be using other products that work for you and give you a similar or better shine which is cool. But so far, for me, this is tops. :)

 

 

 

So, if i do a bulk purchase, will anyone be interested?

Apologies for the lack of updates, as you can tell, he's based in NYC, so only managed to hear from him today after the whole shitstorm sandy situation. He's checking on the shipment costs asap.
