How does it looks like?

Heard people customise/fabricate it to fit non standard brake calipers onto their vehicle. Especially when there isn't any kit for their vehicle model.

Maybe lack of knowledge, it should dangerous and unsafe to me, unless it is just a very simple job.

Can someone enlighten me? or share your experience?

if you want, change everything meaning get a BBK. please dont keh kiang just change calipers and the mounting apparatus nia. [rolleyes]

It is only easy to get brake kit for popular (or common) cars, cars either of performance type or had already penetrate the mass market, such as civic, swift, vios etc.

But I agree with you to certain extend, sometimes better don't keh kiang, especially safety is a concern.

However, nobody can guarantee you that brand new and specially made brake kit won't fail.

brakes will fail, but if you not using original parts then all kinds of reason will appear.

either way should you go on with this upgrade, its an add on to brake power.

i have no problems after mine done for 2 years now even during hard braking i can stop early then bang ppl @ss.

Yup stock is the best!!! It has been properly designed and engineered for the car.

BBK are just fancy aftermarket more for looks rather than practical purpose. In some situations, BBK actually degrade braking performance.

actually customized brake brackets doesnt mean that it is dangerous and of lower quality.

good workshops should be able to measure the offset properly and fabricate good quality cnc brackets with good finishing.

a good place to start would be st powered.
