Showroom Car

Dear bros,

 

I am selling my 5 year old car and need to revert to showroom condition (at least 2nd hand car showroom condition) - needs recommendations for a 1 stop shop for smoothing out some dents, touch up paint for bumpers and also the usual polish and car interior detailing. Any suggestions? I can probably send to separate places to have all that done but really want to just get it done in 1 shot.

bro, if you sell to used car dealer than forget about it. even if it is showroom condition, they will not pay you more. IMO

totally agree, just wash it and polish it yourself. No matter how well you do your car, they somehow will find problem and bargain lower.

Totally agreed,i remember when i sold my showroom condition Rover75,in 2009,the dealer said that he sells cars more than 30 yrs,& have not seen a 9 yrs old car so low mileage & excellence condition,in the end also offer me 'just' $900 for the body.

Throw the dealer a piece of scrap they also can turn it into showroom condition n carrot head the next owner.

On the other hand, if u give them a showroom piece, they will still talk u down n offer u scrap prices..

 

Unless u wanna direct sell, if not really dun bother..

there are alot of mobile groomer around, you can Google, dent remover is not cheap i hear is 10$ per dent. got discount if you have alot. there is a guy name eric (freelance) not bad. i tried to get him do my 1 and 1 1 dent for my LGT last year but he said at that place i can forget about it so not all dent can be make good depend on where it is. google this guy, his name and contact on the net.

 

lucky i never do cos sell my to dealer anyway..
