Donut Supercharged March 9, 2013 Share March 9, 2013 Yes Gold cap is best but Mobil1 AFE is mid range product. The silver cap Mobil 1 then is the lowest range. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/526/mobilw.png/ Uploaded with ImageShack.us Th gold cap is only good for extended milege. It's not considered better. Get it right hor. It's only for drivers who want to keep the oil for extended period. ↡ Advertisement
Renegade777 5th Gear March 9, 2013 Share March 9, 2013 (edited) Forte3737 is right. Gold cap Extended Performance is the only top tier range from Mobil1. Mobil1 AFE is lower range product in comparison. What right ? There is no gold cap. Giant only sells silver and green caps. We are comparing between silver and green caps. Anyway, the green caps are the ones able to give advance fuel economy but giving the same protection just like the rest or even better especially compared to the silver caps. From here it seems to be a newer and more advance oil. Comparing specs to specs with the gold and silver, the green caps still better then the other two. Gold caps only enable long usage. Nitro Neutral Newbie March 9, 2013 Share March 9, 2013 Th gold cap is only good for extended milege. It's not considered better. Get it right hor. It's only for drivers who want to keep the oil for extended period. If the engine oil can last for a longer period, it means the breakdown is slower. Isn't it "better" then in this sense?? No? Anyway "better" is relative, to each his own.
