Hi, when you bought the car, shd have indicated COE rebate amount (maybe 49k). That's the bottom line they have to secure your COE. Not based on the current COE.

According to my SE, he ask his clients non-guaranteed EX to top up 3k to get the car.

You kidding me? I paid 93999 for the car expecting coe to be about 57k. End up my rebate level is 50k only?

Can any other Bro or Sis share their rebate level? And their final COE amount?

You should look at the terms and conditions first on the rebate level between guranteed and non guaranteed bid before committing to buy bro.

Well known that the rebate for non guaranteed is much lower.

some question you have to ask yourself.

1. What's the rebate level specify for the price of 93999?

2. Did you just take the freebies given by the SE or you squeeze the SE for more freebies?

Normally the standard freebies comes out from the company and the maximum amount COE for non-gurarantee COE also determine by the company. The extra freebies comes out from the pocket of the SE (from their commission) and if you don't squeeze for additional freebies, sometime they'll get the office to bid slightly higher than the amount decide by the company and the difference comes out from the SE pocket.

I'm not an SE but from my visit to the ADs 2 months ago and talk to them, that's what I find out from the old bird SE when you go to the showroom on weekdays with not much crowd and chit chat abit with them while looking at the car.

Just sent my car to 1st servicing and do up the bodykit since my adhesive is wearing out some areas and replaced front grille as well. But quite furious when checking my car after I park my car at my carpark.

No prob with the servicing and grille but very upset of my bodykit.

1 - Use of sealant which would change colour and breakdown after few years the road.

2 - Because the sealant is very strong as such put a lot of pressure on the bodykit result in cracking at 2 corners edges.

Does any bro face this issue? Some said the local bodykit is cheapo so quality nothing great.

Thinking of making a complain.

mmmm C&C have different front grille design to change to?

wonder how would a strong sealant cause pressure though, or is it the removal of the body kit to apply sealant causing the cracks?

Mine was loose maybe because it was taken out for respray before.

Looks like I have not done my homework.

I only got 1k discount and rebate level set at 50k. No freebies le.

How about the rest of you all?

U got the $55399 coe? . If you compare the current k3 selling price, i am quite certain that it is higher than your purchase price. Will u want to pay the current price? Coe is like stock market, no point chasing that 1 to 2 k different....

I'm not too sure about the sealant issue, but if they caused your bodykit to crack then that's something to point out to them. Did you do it on the spot? Else now they can say you knocked it yourself and caused the crack...

Hi there,

Should be collecting my SX next weekend.

Would like to check with K3 owners.....for those who have got their Thinkware H50 front cam from C&C, how was the installation ?

Did the installer hide the cables and connect direct to the battery ? Heard there are some installers who did not connect direct to the battery but just connect to the car socket...

Also, for the body kit, saw from the showroom car that the installation quality seems quite bad....there is quite big gap (for side skirt) with the car body (centre portion)...shouldn't;t they have some tape/sealant that seal up those gaps ?

Understand that C&C actually does all installation in-house in their Pandan warehouse before delivery (including Rikecool 28 and Eurostyle), so don't know how is the installation quality like...anything particular to pay attention to during delivery ?

Thanks in advance !

C&C will wire direct to the fuse box.

for the body kit, apart from gaps, check for paint color matching. some bros here the white body kit did not match the snow pearl white.

eurostyle shouldnt have problems, test to make sure rear camera engages in reverse gear.

solar film, check for bubbles.

My outside done up car cams also wire to fuse..

My bodykit also got small small gaps, livable la.. my bodykit color also a bit beige compared to car color.. but really cannot see if you dun stare too hard...

Solar film swee swee no bubble,, but i think the front windscreen no solar film bec it feels heat radiating from it whenever i come in or drive..

On the sealant issue, my old car bodykit also sealant that last a few years, but wont crack anything,, most likely the cracks from installation etc... once over a few years just go outside and pay a bit to reapply the sealant, then will be OK...

On the COE rebate amt, it is not the COE bid amt.. normally the COE bid price is 2-5K above the rebate level depending on the co... coe rebate is just to tell you the refund if the COE price really hit below this amt.. which wont happen nowadays... onemotoring has the price breakdown and lets you see how much the COE price is bid and priced into the car price... a good indication ... hope this helps..

Those who bought Elantra in July at 59k coe rebate got more than 3k (coe rebate) less for the car.

When I bought it, it was:

  1. $94,999 advertised price
  2. COE was at ~$57000
  3. Signed at $93,999
  4. COE rebate was $50,000
  5. So definitely not the $55,399 COE
  6. Feel like I got the short end of the stick.

Once again, can anyway who have secured their K3 EX share their COE Rebate level and purchase price?

actually you can check the price list on SG car mart from C&C. The rebate level is usually standard based on the advertised prices.

differences from deal to deal are the freebies and discounts.

The dealers will always try fulfill their guaranteed COE bids before putting in more effort on the non guaranteed deals.... With COE going down, the non-guaranteed deals make sense, but just means you have to wait longer.
