Anybody can advise me how to replace the position blubs in the headlight of a K3 L varient?

I read the manual and located the blubs, however the manual says to pull straight out. I tried but could not get them out. Even tried turning them but they would not budge.

Try YouTube... probably have some videos... otherwise pay a mechanic to do it and observe him do it... take it as paying school fees lor...

Got any to recommend? The mechanic I know might not "show" it to me.

I also need to learn how as when it comes to 3rd year and road inspection by LTA, I will need to change back to original bulbs to pass the inspection. :)

Guys, other than the headlight levelling switch beside the steering wheel, is there any screw or knob behind the headlights under the bonnet where I can adjust the level?

Hihi..

My K3 at Gear 'N' or 'P', vibrates when I accelerate to 1500rpm. Discovered this within 3 months of usage. Car is 1 yr old.

My outside mechanic opinion that this is 'normal'. I think he means it is an engineering flaw.

Will appreciate anyone to try and let me know if this is the case for their vehicle also.

thank you in advance.

hows the fuel consumption like for you guys?

my 1 month old K3, is doing only 12km/lit. that's kind of low?

and i majorly run highway.

i noticed the "fuel mileage remaining" counter dropping quite fast when driving non-highway. faster than the rate at which i cover the distance.

anybody similar issue?

Good enough for your first month. Mine avg was 8-9km/l. After first servicing went to 12km/l.

This is one of the worst FC i have ever see. Did you see or record the figures wrongly?

I did my 40K i April at CnC Ubi and after reading what you have said...I'm beginning to wonder did they change the ATF or not too. Also, I have requested them to change the spark plug using my stock (iridium) and the SA agreed. But on the invoice, it stated "Recommend Change Spark plug" Owner KIV. I ask the SA why so he said if he did not put this words, he have to charge me labour for changing using my own plugs. The whole process takes only 4 hours to complete for Major servicing? I am beginning to get worried servicing at CnC now. I will try to check the plug on my own, if found out its still the stock plug instead of my Iridium....the SA gonna be in big trouble.  :a-aggressive:

I did my 40K last month, on my receipt it only state major C package, as i sign their 2 year package, this is the 2nd time using, left with 2 more free service.

I do not see the replacement ATF on the front receipt, i got the spark plug change, as i use their plugs with labour.

Did your receipt show replacement of ATF?

Tyre rotation yes they did rotate but is front to back or vice versa.

Hi, I tried putting to N or P then acc to above 1500rpm. Did not feel any vibration. The only time I felt vibration was in my prev ride Avante where after start engine, sometimes will feel whole car vibrate for 1 sec but doesn't affect driving. Mechanic said engine mount got problem.

Therefore, for your ride perhaps need to check engine mount and gearbox.

I have an SX and drove for >6mths. I have 12" subwoofer in trunk with 2 amps. 70% highway, speed <100km/h, using default Nexen tires. Whether on Eco or normal drive modes the FC typically between 8-11 km/L. Compared to prev ride Avante, I  need to top up one time more per month. At first very concerned about FC so I drove by not stepping on accelerator everytime but found I don't enjoy the ride. Therefore I just switch display to show only speed and resume normal driving behavior - screw FC!!

Don't waste money with their package servicing. They will sell you their major servicing which includes coolant and spark plugs, but skip both as your mileage not there yet. You can go for their most basic servicing all the way until 80-100k, before changing coolant or spark plugs. Else, they are collecting your money but not doing any work.
