oh god, thanks for info, fxing aircon turn out fixing whole car. Jia rat leh.

Btw, i got one question to ask bros down here. I bough used Avante 2009 in March. Now, my steering wheel got noise, i went back to my car dealer becos under 6 months lemon law. Most probably the noise due to steering rack which cost at 800 something. wow, he said it was due to wear & tear, so he cannot warrant for me. Hi bros, can SHARE is it wear n tear issue, n can i go to CASE?

Hi, my e60 523 2007 also got problem on steering pump noise, car still under QBE warranty. I send to warranty authorize center to claim , end up QBE replied it was wear and tear, so i go back to car dealer and the boss send my car for part replacement at their own cost.

Stated from QBE booklet , steering pump was under warranty, but they push blame on steering pump bearing worn out and bearing was wear and tear parts.

Bro, im driving a 09 forte. And i had the same problem as u. Loud clicking noise when turning the steering column. Went back to Cnc. Before warranty period end, they diagnose the issue as glock spring, thus they tried to fix it back lubricating. Days later, clicking sound came back, again they did another round of lubrication and ask to monitor. As usual, the issue came back, this time warranty period ended. And VIolia ! Now steering problem got problem. Anw, i tried to fight my case with Cnc. In the end, instead of paying 1900 plus, i paid a "goodwill gesture discounted rate" 1300+. Hope this helps !!
