Hi guys I would like to share my very bad experience at this shop located at Upper Changi Road. It was a reputable air-con shop until recently my personal experience view it otherwise. On 23/08/13 my air-con was unable to turn on and decided to drop by this particular shop which is located near my residence. I'll sumerise the story and if any of you need any clarification please feel free to contact me as I have evidence and also a reputable workshop experience it first-hand and they can testify it. Karcool inexperienced staff caused me my car's electical and electronic systems which short-circuit the car's relay systems. It blew up all the fuse in my fuse box. Every single thing is affected including my original HID headlight, my arlam system, my audio system, my electrical and electonic systems. I now cost me by the thousands and the worst thing is that they dont take responsibility for it. Im planning to report them to the authorities. I hope to get advise from fellow drivers here and also to warn anyone of going to this particular shop.

Been there once with my bro. Without checking anything, they recommended 'aircon servicing' which cost $250 just coz my bro told him aircon not cold.

 

We walked away, I am glad we did.

Wow.. On top of the air con fee, now need to pay for the fuse box. This is bad.. [rifle]

They opened up my dashboard and troubleshoot why the aircon cant switch on.. they disturbed my fuse box n relay system.. but end up they cant rectify d problem n I have to get another workshop to cear up their mess.. my mechanic from pther workshop came down but end up my car need to be towed away.. im really very disappointed..

Air con problem becomes whole car kaput.. U should take legal action against them man..

Im planning to inform d boss about d problem n see what he says.. if he dont want to bear the cost I will report to CASE..

pretty helpless on what you can do..... it is another suck thumb case....

 

treat it as a lesson learnt.. this trade (like many) are not regulated and you can hardly seek recourse... suggest you not to waste time on authority or CASE

 

they will tell you to visit AD workshops for trusted services

Btw, i got one question to ask bros down here. I bough used Avante 2009 in March. Now, my steering wheel got noise, i went back to my car dealer becos under 6 months lemon law. Most probably the noise due to steering rack which cost at 800 something. wow, he said it was due to wear & tear, so he cannot warrant for me. Hi bros, can SHARE is it wear n tear issue, n can i go to CASE?

your mech from another WS came? unbelievable leh. don't the mech need to work?
