maybe yours stock not in sg? probably? could be a multitude of reasons though. Ask your SE can expedite? hahaha.

My COE also 15th Mar, received my car this week on 27th Mar 2017.

Colour: Modern Steel Metallic

 

Glad my SE did the necessary things promptly. You can look for my reliable SE (Derren).

Really Glad that I choose Honda City at Honda Ubi Showroom.

Premium drive and very good handling (traction).

Or is it a CVT/torque converter characteristic.

Always been driving 6AT clutch.

 

From start, rev to 2.5k and hold there, car feels like it doesn't have power right off the start.

Only when I release accelerator to let RPM drop and step again, then I feel the car power kick in.

 

Could it also be because the car isn't seasoned. Haven't been to first servicing yet.

Mine 15k km already but still like this leh.. But this effect is greatly reduced once engine oil is changed. Don't know why also.

cvt is like dat....Nissan cvt also similar characteristic.

 

in fact, my previous turbo engine also same with conventional torque converter....I will release throttle abit and press again....like simulate manual clutch whaha

only heard no acceleration kick.

ya have to get used to it...don have the vroom effect anymore lo...

 

have to start slowly n depress slowly..but for City not too bad le...can pickup quite fast lo

Honda CVT feels slightly better than nissan CVT. And also because City is very light. Easier to move off..
