  1. Now this is a good one for debating. Do you think the lady in the Honda Shuttle is wrong, or its just the taxi driver being difficult? As shown on SG Road Vigilante's page, a clip shot by a Premier taxi driver, shows a lady in her Honda Shuttle blocking the drop off/pickup point of Katong Shopping Center on 7th of Aug 2020. The reason she is blocking everyone is that she wanted to reverse into the parallel lot beside the taxi but in order for her to do so, all the cars, including the taxi behind, her has to reverse. Now that can be quite a hassle to everyone... So without seeing the first part of this incident, could it be that the taxi driver was being difficult from the start and could have just reversed for her to go into the lot? Or do you guys reckoned that the Honda driver was just a little bit too self-entitled?
  2. Honda's a genius in churning out state-of-the-art small cars. Here's why. The 2014 Honda Jazz is 4cm shorter but it offers 138 liters more cabin-space volume and nearly 13cm of extra rear legroom - compared to the predecessor. Here's how Honda engineers eked out extra room in a shorter car. For starters, Jazz's wheelbase has been stretched further apart by 3cm allowing its rear seat bench to move back outwardly by 7.6cm. Next, engineers made the centrally-mounted fuel tank located beneath the front seats thinner liberating more space for passengers but retains the same liter-volume as previous models. Plus, the new Jazz could be served in a hedonic shade of lemonade yellow to go with its packaging.

    New Honda Shuttle 2015

Replacement for the Fit Shuttle, but I guess Honda decision to drop the "Fit" moniker in attempt to make the new model a class above the Fit. IMO, this is a decent model (in look and size) comparable to the Airwave.

    2019 facelift Honda Shuttle

Hi all, since this car was release on May 2019, would like to start a thread on the facelift model. As 2019 model all comes with standard Honda sensing, maybe we can share ideas and mods?
  7. Officially launched in Thailand. Wonder when Kah Motors bringing in.
  8. Going to get a Honda Civic 2007, any known problems i should look out for and change? How much will the estimated costs be? Thank you!
  9. Just changed to set of 4. $480. Made in Japan. Not many reviews in SG. Anyone on this model?
  10. Some people don't deserve to drive. Watch the video below and see whether you agree with our harsh comment or not. Posted by My Grandfather's Road, another traffic-shaming facebook page, is this video of a Honda City that almost came to a complete stop while on the first lane of the ECP. It is unclear how long ago this accident happened as the in-car camera video dates the incident on the 27th of Dec 2019 but the post was published today, 22nd of July 2020. We have no idea why the Honda driver attempted to slow down. Could it be that he or she realised that there is an exit and wanted to turn off at the last minute?
  11. Last weekend saw Singapore going into Phase 2, whereby almost every industry could become operational again. With showrooms closed for more than a month since the start of our lockdown, naturally this weekend also saw some decent traffic. Unfortunately, one test drive in particular went bad for this particular Honda shopper at Leng Kee... We don't have details on exactly what happened but it does look like this Red Honda Jazz that was probably going through a test drive, isn't going to be sold as a new car anytime soon. On the bright side, we can be sure that Honda's safety features sure work very well. P.S. We reckon with the upcoming all new Jazz's Honda Sensing safety suite, this accident could have been avoided.

    Honda Vezel - Part 3

For your reading pleasure 12 ways to zhng your Vezel without breaking the bank http://www.sgcarmart.com/news/events_features.php?AID=3360 We haven't seen an invasion like this since the Allies stormed Normandy back in 1944. No, we're not talking about war here, we're talking about the ubiquitous Honda Vezel. These popular crossovers present themselves at every junction and every turn, making it practically impossible to get through two traffic lights without crossing paths with one of them. Plus, with private-hire services like Uber and Grab offering affordable rental schemes, drivers are now able to 'own' a Vezel at a much lower premium. This leads to a problem for Vezel owners. How do you stand out in a sea of lookalikes? Fret not, here's a list of 12 affordable items you can pick up to zhng your Vezel and enhance your driving experience. Scuff plates keep the interior of your door sills in mint condition 1. Scuff plates with LED illumination ($180) Clumsy passengers in high heels constantly scuffing up your door sills will now be a thing of the past, thanks to Premier Auto Pte Ltd's scuff plates. These scuff plates not only keep the interior of your door sills in mint condition by protecting them from dings and dents, they also add a touch of elegance to your sweet-looking ride. Bright blue LED lights built into the scuff plates illuminate the flanges of your Vezel's side body panels for a more aesthetically-pleasing cabin. Premier Auto Pte Ltd is offering a set of four scuff plates at $180, which includes installation. Check out Premier Auto's Honda Vezel scuff plates. Boot tray ($55) Storing junk in the trunk couldn't be any easier with SgGarage's Honda Vezel boot tray. Mud, grease, sand and other nasty stuff are a pain in the neck to get rid of, especially when they come into contact with a car's interior. A boot tray allows you to store items like wet umbrellas and muddy boots, keeping foreign particles off the floor of your boot and making the cleaning process a breeze. It can also be conveniently removed and washed, which is a whole lot easier than working your fingers to the bone trying to remove grease from your boot. Stainless steel rear bumper protector Are you constantly loading and unloading heavy equipment? Do you have to be extra cautious when storing heavy items in your boot? Panel beating and bodywork can be expensive and time consuming, that's why we've got just the thing for you. Tri King's rear bumper protector runs the length of the Vezel's rear bumper and is machined from stainless steel, which ensures a durable scuff plate that is able to withstand prolonged abuse. It also adds a rugged off-roader look to your Vezel. Door visor ($75) Rain drops are fallin' on my head, they keep fallin'. Clearly, B.J. Thomas had no idea what door visors do. These unassuming pieces of moulded plastic keep rain water out while you have the windows slightly open. They come in handy for times when you have to crack a window if you're feeling cold on a rainy day, or if you just need some fresh air. SgGarage is selling a set of door visors for $75, which come with corresponding clips. These durable door visors are designed to withstand the rigours of driving and exposure to the elements, and are estimated to last for more than a decade. Find out more about SgGarage's door visor. Side step ($380) Getting into an SUV can be challenging at times, especially for the kids and their grandparents, due to a higher ground clearance and larger wheels. The solution? Get a side step for your Vezel. Side steps are helpful for pint-sized individuals or occupants who are unable to muster up enough strength to take that big step. Besides providing an additional platform for passengers to board a higher-riding vehicle, a side step also protects car doors and side panels from stones and dirt kicked up by the tyres. Premier Auto Pte Ltd Address: 1 Bukit Batok Crescent #03-26 WCEGA Plaza Singapore (658064) Contact number: +65 6316 9033 The Steelmate TP-S3E features four anti-theft external sensors with an adjustable alert pressure value range 6. Steelmate TP-S3E External Tyre Pressure Monitoring System It's common for many drivers to overlook the job of regularly inflating their car tyres since tyres tend to be 'out of sight, out of mind'. However, properly inflated tyres are safer, give a more comfortable ride and reduce fuel consumption. A quick and easy solution is the Steelmate TP-S3E External Tyre Pressure Monitoring System by ZMC Automotive. It features four anti-theft external sensors with an adjustable alert pressure value range, a flexible display for easy mounting and interchangeable pressure units (bar/PSI). The Xado 1 Stage New Car Atomic Metal Conditioner provides top level engine protection for new cars. It ensures the accurate adjustment of a new engine's parts during the running-in phase and compensates for wear-out during operation. Honda City 4th Gen

It's just launched in Thailand. So ours should arrive soon too I suppose. http://paultan.org/2014/01/23/2014-honda-city-launched-in-thailand/ Looks to me that a high spec City is all the car that most people would need. 6 airbags, VSA, cruise control, rear a/c. Looks like no sunroof for Thai cars unlike India. It's amazing how 'low end' cars have so much kit these days (case in point:the Kia K3)! This level of equipment used to be only in much higher end cars.
  17. Hi all, i am looking for your opinion. In recent regular maintenance, my engineer suggested me to change the front absorber and engine mounting which cost about 1.5K inlcuding labor. I can feel the problem while driving and it is getting a little worse in the past 6 months. Howver, I am not sure whether I shall chang them now since the car is due in 3 years and I probably will change another car. what would you do if in my situation? thanks.
  18. Honda Civic Type R gets assortment of Mugen aftermarket parts source: https://uk.motor1.com/news/431165/honda-civic-type-r-mugen/ Fulfill your wildest boy-racer fantasies. The Civic Type R is one of the wildest looking performance hatchbacks on the market today. The polarizing and angular design got some tweaks for 2020, along with a few changes underneath, though it did nothing to dampen the car’s boy-racer aesthetics. However, those wanting an even wilder appearance only have to look to Mugen for an assortment of aftermarket parts that’ll allow someone to turn the Type R’s styling way past 11. Mugen offers several exterior body pieces that enhance the hatchback’s look. At the front, the company offers a front under spoiler, carbon grille garnish, and a carbon fibre hood. At the back, available parts include a tailgate spoiler, a new wing, and a (very) busy rear diffuser. Other exterior upgrades include revised side skirts and carbon side-mirror covers. Mugen packages the front under spoiler, side skirts, and rear diffuser in a Styling Set while the Aero & Wheel Set is the Styling set paired with Mugen’s 20-inch wheels. Inside, customers can change their steering wheel while adding Mugen-branded inner door protectors. The company also offers a racing seat from Recaro with the Mugen logo embroidered in the headrest. There’s also an assortment of shift knobs, an engine start-stop button with the Mugen logo, and scuff plates. Those looking to upgrade the car’s sound can opt for the sport exhaust system. For 2020, Honda engineers kept many of the Type R’s upgrades hidden underneath the sheet metal. The 2020 model received upgraded brakes, a stiffer suspension, and revised steering, along with other updates. The grille grew in size, too, helping feed air to the turbocharged four-cylinder under the bonnet. However, it continues to make the same 306 bhp. If Mugen’s wild look is a bit much, there are plenty of other available upgrades.
  19. Hi there I put a non-refundable deposit for a Honda Vezel at Ubi Automart from Cars & Coffee. I read on the LTA One Motoring site that there is a recall for HR-V in effect on June 4, 2020, which says: Due to incorrect manufacturing of the rear seat belt assembly, the component attached was bent. The vehicle sensor and webbing sensor could be inoperative. I know Vezel has had issues in the past for the 2016 models and there were recalls of 8% of all of them. Do you think there is anything to worry about with the new 2019 model that I bought? I will be transporting my baby around and don’t want to take risks. Thanks
