  1. Hello. Would like to seek some opinions here. Thinking of respraying my car as the paintwork is turning yellowish and there are paintwork damages (stone chips, dings and dangs) on the bumper. Previous owner also used liquid paper to try to mask up the stone chips. If I were to respray on the current bumper, after refibre/putty+respray, would there be a risk of the paintwork cracking after sometime? Or would it actually be wiser to replace the bumper with a good condition secondhand one followed by respray? I'm keeping my options opened. May be a good time to change new bodykit as well but not exactly familiar with the different types.
  2. Hello Everyone, I saw that some drivers in the Honda jazz fit group on Facebook received notifications of vehicle recall due to Fuel pump impeller. Personally, i have not received the notifications but out of curiosity, i went to onemotoring to check on it since my car is a Honda Fit manufactured in 2019. True enough, it was under a recall program. Under the Onemotoring page, i was advised to contact the importer or dealer for rectifications. I have since then contacted the importer to ask for advice. However, i was directed to contact my dealer to get it rectified instead. My dealer may have closed down and I shared this with the importer. I was informed to get it rectified at my own workshop. My work shop however have turned down this rectification work as they do not know exactly what needs to be replace or changed. As the description of it is very brief. "Improper molding conditions in the impeller (resin impeller) of a low-pressure fuel pump can cause the resin density to become low, causing it to swell and become deformed by the fuel. As a result, the impeller may come into contact with the pump case, causing the fuel pump to malfunction, and in the worst-case scenario, the engine may stall while driving. Replace the low-pressure fuel pump with a countermeasure item." I have since informed the importer that my dealer has possible closed down and that my workshop do not want to do the job - pending their reply. Any advice from anyone who have faced or are facing such issues at the moment ? Thank you.
  3. The current 10th generation Civic was officially unveiled on 17 September 2015, and after close to 5 years, the next gen is on the horizon. The spy shots below shown the 5 door Type R variant, which look more upright than the current gen even though it was wearing heavy cladding. More spy shots of the other variants can be expected to surface very soon. Stay tuned.
  4. Can somebody tell me the diff between these 2 car? As in the exterior. How to diff them without looking the interior/engine bay? One of the picture is Jazz while the other is Fit. cheers people.
  5. Looks almost identical to the current HRV.. Exciting with a really powerful motor. But will it make it to SG? https://carbuyer.com.sg/honda-eny1-all-electric-suv/ https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/honda/357642/new-honda-eny1-electric-suv-unveiled-full
  6. Source: https://uk.motor1.com/news/703878/honda-new-ev-logo/ Honda EVs will be getting a fresh logo. The company is updating its iconic "H mark," which has been used continuously on all of its cars since 1981. The new logo — which Honda says represents "two outstretched hands" — is a thinner, minimalist version of the current H, minus the trapezoid border. This new logo bears a striking resemblance to Honda's first logo. Introduced in 1963 (which can be seen below in the historical timeline), the original H featured a similarly thin, top-heavy design, albeit one that was wider rather than taller. That logo was only briefly used in America on the first car the company sold, the 1969 N600, before the badge was redesigned in 1969. Honda will debut its new H logo on future 0 Series electric cars. The 0 Series is a lineup of next-gen, clean-sheet-design EVs that will be introduced to American buyers starting in 2026; those cars will also get their own unique branding, seen below. The first two 0 Series vehicles are concepts called the Saloon and the Space-Hub, a saloon and a van that share a similar futuristic wedge-shaped exterior. The Saloon, Honda has confirmed, will inspire a future production model for American streets; that'll likely be the first time the new H emblem could be seen on US roads. There's no word if this new "H" will be paired with the spelled-out Honda badging on the back of the company's upcoming EV SUV, the Prologue, or if the Prologue will get the new badging with a later facelift. Honda also hasn't intentionally played up the parallels to the company's first car logo, but with the resurgence of nostalgic nameplates getting revived both at Honda and elsewhere, we can't help but wonder if callback advertisements or models are in the company's future.
  7. Direct competitor to Toyota Raize
  8. To be unveiled in Japan in September 2022. Although it is sized between the HR-V and CR-V, but this new SUV will be replacing the CR-V in the Japanese Market, as they just announced the cease of CR-V production days before introducing this latest ZR-V. A strange move to me. For those of you who are follow motoring news closely, you may find that it look very familiar and that you have seen it somewhere. Well, the same model is available in the USA recently, but using the HR-V nameplate. Another head scratching decisions by Honda...
  9. Source: https://mustsharenews.com/honda-colouring-practice/ Driver Of Honda Car Fails To Park Within Lot, Gets Colouring Exercise As A Joke Poor parking jobs are probably something many motorists in Singapore have encountered before. But a driver of a silver Honda Shuttle apparently did theirs so badly that someone decided to leave a colouring practice sheet to teach them to ‘stay within the lines’. Looking at the photo, the car appeared to be halfway out of its lot, clearly infringing into the lot beside it. Whoever left the colouring exercise certainly made a good jab as the gesture amused many netizens. Poorly parked Honda gets colouring practice sheet While driving a car requires skill, parking one does too, which the driver of a silver Honda Shuttle seemed to lack. Either that, or they were in a rush and decided to park as they pleased. In a post on 7 Dec, Facebook page SG Road Vigilante – SGRV shared a photo of the car in question not parked squarely in its intended lot. Although half of the car’s body sat within one lot, a good third of its right side ‘spilt over’ into the lot to its right. Should there be no other lot left but the one beside it, we’re sure the other driver would have been vexed. Noticing the evidently poor parking job, someone decided to leave the Honda driver a message by assigning them some ‘homework’ in the form of a colouring exercise with a note. “Many three-year-olds have trouble staying within the lines,” the passive-aggressive note read. “Maybe if you practise colouring this turtle, it will help with your parking.” The ‘turtle’ did appear to look more like a tortoise though. It also possessed the most judgmental stare possible. SGRV uploaded a soft copy of the sheet, which implies that it’s easily available for anyone who might want to do the same. Netizens find assignment funny What the stranger did may seem like a lot of effort for a funny jab, but this isn’t the first time the colouring tortoise has appeared tucked under a wiper. In 2021, a BMW driver who parked slanted received one, though the car appeared to be still within the lot. At least the tortoise message is less offensive. Netizens showed their support for the funny jab in the post’s comments. Another user shared that they participated in such activities too. Unsurprisingly, the targeted drivers merely looked at the paper and tossed it away. One commenter, however, decided to point out the fact that there could be some other side of the story. They brought up a disabled driver as a possible example. Either way, we at least hope the judgmental tortoise lives rent-free in the heads of truly inconsiderate drivers so they’ll remember to park properly next time. And earlier this year, an Audi that was parked a little too far to the left received the passive-aggressive tortoise, alongside a fully aggressive note decrying the driver’s sexual prowess.
  10. Patent images from Brazil registry. The front bonnet is exceptionally and unnecessarily long. Total waste of space (and material) in my opinion since the engine option is unlikely to be anything larger than an IL4 2.0 sump which will be transversely mount as usual. These spy shots give us a glimpse of how the actual car sis going to look like.
  11. Replacement for the Fit Shuttle, but I guess Honda decision to drop the "Fit" moniker in attempt to make the new model a class above the Fit. IMO, this is a decent model (in look and size) comparable to the Airwave.
  12. For your reading pleasure 12 ways to zhng your Vezel without breaking the bank http://www.sgcarmart.com/news/events_features.php?AID=3360 We haven't seen an invasion like this since the Allies stormed Normandy back in 1944. No, we're not talking about war here, we're talking about the ubiquitous Honda Vezel. These popular crossovers present themselves at every junction and every turn, making it practically impossible to get through two traffic lights without crossing paths with one of them. Plus, with private-hire services like Uber and Grab offering affordable rental schemes, drivers are now able to 'own' a Vezel at a much lower premium. This leads to a problem for Vezel owners. How do you stand out in a sea of lookalikes? Fret not, here's a list of 12 affordable items you can pick up to zhng your Vezel and enhance your driving experience. It can also be conveniently removed and washed, which is a whole lot easier than working your fingers to the bone trying to remove grease from your boot. Side step ($380) Getting into an SUV can be challenging at times, especially for the kids and their grandparents, due to a higher ground clearance and larger wheels. The solution? Get a side step for your Vezel. Side steps are helpful for pint-sized individuals or occupants who are unable to muster up enough strength to take that big step. Besides providing an additional platform for passengers to board a higher-riding vehicle, a side step also protects car doors and side panels from stones and dirt kicked up by the tyres. A quick and easy solution is the Steelmate TP-S3E External Tyre Pressure Monitoring System by ZMC Automotive. It features four anti-theft external sensors with an adjustable alert pressure value range, a flexible display for easy mounting and interchangeable pressure units (bar/PSI). 13. <Toyota GR Corolla Teased with a Game of I Spy Toyota dropped a teaser on Instagram with tons of hidden clues about the upcoming hot hatch, which is expected to use a 268-hp three-cylinder engine. TOYOTA Toyota teased the upcoming GR Corolla hot hatch with an image shared on Instagram that featured hidden clues detailing the new model. The GR Corolla will be powered by the same turbocharged 1.6-liter three-cylinder engine as the global GR Yaris. The GR Corolla is expected to debut sometime next year and go on sale as a 2022 model in the U.S. Ever since Toyota debuted the GR Yaris hot hatch and said that it wouldn't be sold in the United States, we've been itching for a version of one that we could buy here. After all, Toyota needs something to compete with the likes of the Honda Civic Type R, Volkswagen Golf R, and Hyundai Veloster N. Good thing Toyota isn't leaving us behind, because we're getting a GR Corolla soon. The company just dropped a teaser image on its Instagram account that give some hints of the new raucous hot hatch. WHAT WE EXPECT THE GR COROLLA TO LOOK LIKE. | ILLUSTRATION BY BEN SUMMERELL-YOUDE/FOX SYNDICATION | CAR AND DRIVER Naturally, the users over on the GR Corolla forum were quick to point out all the hints, which are scattered around an image of a standard Corolla's interior like a game of I Spy. GR stands for Gazoo Racing and is used on the Supra and the new GR86 sports car. The time indicated on the gauge cluster is G:16, which refers to the G16E-GTS turbocharged three-cylinder engine that's used in the GR Yaris. The 268-hp output of that powerful engine's Japanese version is found on the climate controls in the teaser image. European versions make 268 horsepower and 266 pound-feet of torque, and the engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission. That's not all. There's even a camouflaged GR Corolla hatchback in the background of the image (we tried to zoom in; you can't see much, sadly). There's a GR Four road in the navigation system, which refers to the advanced all-wheel-drive system that has Torsen limited-slip differentials in the front and the rear and an electronically controlled center differential. Look for more details on the new GR Corolla soon, as Toyota is sure to trickle out details about the new hot hatch before its reveal, likely next year, since it released almost all the details on the new Tundra pickup before its official debut.>
  14. Source: https://www.motor1.com/news/680166/third-generation-honda-n-box-debut/ The first-generation Honda N-Box went on sale in Japan in 2011. As its name implied, the small model had a very square appearance. The automaker premiered the third-gen N-Box before beginning deliveries in Japan this fall. The company starts taking orders in August, but pricing isn't yet available. Like the previous two generations, the latest N-Box is still boxy. Now, even the headlights have square surrounds. There's a stumpy nose; the rest is for the passenger compartment. The rear doors slide open like you'd find on a minivan. An optional Fashion Style package adds off-white elements to the mirrors and door handles, in addition to body-color wheel caps. Buyers can upgrade to the N-Box Custom trim level with hexagonal grille mesh rather than the tiny circles on the standard model. The higher trim level comes standard with LED headlights and clear taillamps instead of red. An optional Coordination Style package adds dark chrome to the grille and rear license plate surround, in addition to black aluminum wheels.
  15. Hi guys, Anyone can recommend where can I change my front brake pads? I believe they need to be replaced. My car is Honda Civic FD4. And my tyres are producing sounds when I drive at higher speed. Normally the sounds will come out when I drive above 80/90km/h. Is it because it needed to do tyre rotation or alignment? Please share the info if you know. Thank you so much
  16. @kobayashiGT I am actually more excited by this version, than the China Civic with a different badge. Hopefully it will be a big success in the US and eventually wear a Honda badge for the rest of the world. Acura announced that the upcoming Integra will have a “sleek five-door design” in a new teaser. The company said it will reveal more details closer to its debut in 2022. Along with the description of the car, it released an image of the sporty compact bathed in heavy shadows along with a short video of an engine revving. It also showed us an image of the 1986 Integra RS 5-Door, which helped launch the popular model line. (And this is the Integra in my memory, something unlike any others during that era) Acura was previously coy about revealing any details on the shape of the new Integra, giving media a firm “no comment” whenever asked. When it announced the model’s return in August, the automaker referred to it as a “compact premium car” and revealed a liftback body style via a drone demonstration. “The Integra is back,” vice president and Acura Brand Officer Jon Ikeda said in a statement in August. “I’m thrilled to say Integra is returning to the Acura lineup with the same fun-to-drive spirit and DNA of the original, fulfilling our commitment to Precision Crafted Performance in every way – design, performance, and the overall driving experience.”
  17. Hi all, since this car was release on May 2019, would like to start a thread on the facelift model. As 2019 model all comes with standard Honda sensing, maybe we can share ideas and mods?

  20. It's just launched in Thailand. So ours should arrive soon too I suppose. http://paultan.org/2014/01/23/2014-honda-city-launched-in-thailand/ Looks to me that a high spec City is all the car that most people would need. 6 airbags, VSA, cruise control, rear a/c. Looks like no sunroof for Thai cars unlike India. It's amazing how 'low end' cars have so much kit these days (case in point:the Kia K3)! This level of equipment used to be only in much higher end cars.
  21. TLDR - The meme before the video starts This situation is just free entertainment for the camcar. The meme below sums up all you need to know honestly. What happened? A Toyota MPV driver on the causeway decided to start a fight with a Honda Vezel. We don’t have any context to this as the video starts here, but I assume it’s because the Vezel is trying to cut the queue and go first. The Toyota driver got out and kicked the Vezel in the side. That kick had some oomph to it. Some words were exchanged when the passenger of the Vezel decides to step out in the driver’s place. Reminds me of Jojo stands, or sending your Pokemon out to do battle. The two men proceed to argue, with the Toyota driver gesturing to his vehicle. I assume this is to point out his car is in front. You might be thinking this is obvious, but the Vezel driver sure doesn’t think so. Both sides have raised hands. There’s a lot of pointing and pushing around before the Toyota driver eventually concedes and goes back into his car before driving off. The Vezel passenger lingers and waits for him to leave before going back into the car, as if expecting a sudden comeback. And finally the queue moves again. It’s a shame there’s no audio. Online chatter Some people criticised not the fact that the argument happened, but that it didn’t escalate to blows being exchanged. Two others noted the Toyota driver starting it by kicking the Honda. Humans are dark… Others made jokes about how they look like they were going to kiss, or how the Vezel driver sent to passenger out to find in their stead (John Wick 4, IYKYK) ========= Be the first to get the latest road/ COE news and get first dibs on exclusive promos and giveaways in our Telegram SGCM Community. 22. Source: https://www.lowyat.net/2023/300587/japanese-brands-hydrogen-bike-engines/ Specifically Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki and Yamaha, with Toyota being a "special member". When it comes to clean alternatives to fuel, much of the conversation is centred around electric vehicles (EVs). Every once in awhile, hydrogen engines come up, but these are usually talked about with regards to cars or larger vehicles. Four Japanese bike makers are looking to change that, as they have announced a research partnership for developing hydrogen-powered combustion engines for motorcycles. The research group is collectively known as the Hydrogen Small Mobility & Engine Technology (HySE), comprising of Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki and Yamaha. Beyond the four, Kawasaki Heavy Industries and Toyota are also included as special members of the association, which has been granted approval by the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Each of the four companies also have their roles within HySE quite clearly defined. As per the press release by Honda, the company will be responsible for “research on the model-based development of hydrogen-powered engines”. Suzuki, on the other hand, will be working on “element study on functionality, performance, and reliability” instead. Yamaha will be working on the tank and refueling systems, while Kawasaki handles the auxiliary equipment for the tank and fuel supply system, as well as the equipment in between the fuel tank and injector. Both of these companies will also be doing “hands-on research using real hydrogen-powered engines on their functionality, performance and reliability”. Among the challenges faced by those looking to make hydrogen engines for bikes is due to the fact that they are smaller, and therefore have more limited room for hydrogen fuel cell storage. Japanese online publication Kyodo News also reports that HySE is also considering installing these engines onto boats and even drones, should this research in making hydrogen engines for bikes be successful. The report also notes that while members of the association are working together for the research, the decision to make anything to be sold commercially is up to each company.
