  1. As seen on ROAD.sg, a red Volkswagen Scirocco has rear ended a SEAT Leon Cupra at the junction of the KJE exit to Woodland Road. The accident happened a while ago on 3rd of April but only started getting viral recently as the Scirocco owner shared the video on a private whatsapp group chat (We have no idea why he/she would do this). Thankfully, this is no serious accident despite the camera car obviously speeding along the KJE exit before filtering into Woodlands road. Sharp viewers of the video would also notice from the car's exhaust note that the accelerator was being pressed to overtake the bus at the 11-second mark. But then again, it did look like the Scirocco could stop in time but chose to not come to a complete stop while checking for vehicles on Woodlands road... Check out the video below. Is this a case of bad luck and/or bad judgement from Volkswagen driver who actually could stop in time or a case of speeding and reckless driving from both drivers? Let us know what you think in the comments below. vid.mp4
  2. Hello all, My wife's white Mitsubishi Colt Plus was hit from behind by a Toyota Hiace this morning around 830am,19 Oct 2017. She was driving along AYE towards City and the accident took place near the Jurong Town Hall exit. If you happened to have the video recording or have seen the accident, can you pm me or leave a message in this thread? Thank you very much!!
  3. Driver of above car, please contact me if you need help or video footage of your accident with the motorcycle and silver taxi that rammed into you. Happened today at 4.47pm, at the SLE exit to Lentor Avenue / Yishun. Any bros here know how to extract the rear camera video of dual channel car cameras? It is 1 avi file but I can see the front and rear video using car cam software or VLC player.
  4. Wife was on her way to work on TPE after punggol exit when she saw a motorbike banged onto a car behind us ( through the side mirror) before knocking onto our car and fled the scene. If your car happened to be banged by this motorbike, kindly PM me and we can perhaps consolidate our video proofs to make a report against him and make him accountable for his action if possible. Thanks.
  5. Which country's immigration does not stamp your passport upon exit? So far, encountered UK. There is no immigration officers at the International departure hall of LHR airport. Immigration declaration is also for entry only, no departure portion. Anymore? 1. London, UK

  7. greetings to all, i was involved in an accident involving a car that was about to merge into PIE and a lorry along PIE(changi) aft sims exit. i was on the most left lane when a lorry overtook closely resulting it to sideswiped me and cause me to hit the merging car. All the people involved are medically fine thank god but the problem arise during claiming. im aware that sideswipe cases are kinda complicated to solve unless proven with video evident thus this is the reason i post this thread if any one of our fellow members happens to have any video or knows anyone with one thank you for you time reading
  8. I know NPNT becoz I was quite far away and got TP watching, I cannot be inconsiderate. Pass by around 8pm Saw a what seems like a chemical truck over the railing of the very sharp bend of AYE Clementi Ave 6 exit (towards Tuas). I was entering AYE in the opposite entrance. Only had a few glances. The big truck was topple over the railing mid-way around the sharp bend. My wife spotted a couple of ambulance. Saw rescue workers running around. AYE as usual tail back to NUH with almost standstill traffic.
  9. saw at least a dozen car + occupied 1st 2 lane. first time saw so many car involve
  10. Bros, Just witnessed an accident where a car (looks like a Rush or Terios) coming out from the slip road from PIE to TPE near the Loyang exit towards Punggol didn't see a motorcyclist and side swiped him. I managed to stop on time just behind the motorcyclist and helped him and his bike to the roadside after putting on my hazard lights. Motorcyclist uncle was injured, bleeding from his fingers, palms and shin. As my car was in the middle of the road, with my family inside, I had not choice but to move off quickly after ensuring the uncle and the bike was safely by the road shoulder. I offered to call an ambulance but he declined. I think the car that side swiped him may have stopped further up ahead on the road shoulder and had his hazard lights on. My car cam video was unfortunately blur as it was raining and the video was too grainy to determine the license number of 'side swipe'. In my haste, i did not get the uncle's hp or license plate. Hope he is ok.
  11. Saw an accident today (7-May-2014) around 4.50pm along PIE, near exit 26B. From my view, involved two heavy vehicles. I wonder why the car with siren (police or atos?) didn't stop to offer assistance but sped off? Caught by in-car camera http://youtu.be/g8wA7Lb1tu4
  12. Couple causes crash driving against traffic to exit carpark -- then blames the other driver A couple in this white Honda Civic dashed for the exit of IMM's carpark against the flow of traffic, causing a collision with another car on the way out. According to Stomper Candice the couple then filed for $4,100 in damages after the incident. She recounts the incident: "My god-sister's car got hit at IMM carpark level 2 on Dec 28 by a car dashing out illegally against the flow of traffic. "It did not come to a immediate stop. No words of apologies, Instead the female passenger confronted us and asked why we had not slowed down for them to pass through. "When asked to produce their driving licence else we would make a police report, the female passenger pointed her finger very fiercely right up to my sister's face, and asked on what grounds we would want to call the police. "At the moment, we really felt threatened and feared for our safety. "Not only that, the couple even came up with a story to claim damages against my god-sister's motor insurance, $4,100 for a minor dent on their white Honda Civic." 13. dear all, partially witnessed any accident at the above junction. i have a video showing the vehicle movement about 5 sec before the actual accident, but not the actual accident itself. not sure if it will be helpful, but if anyone needs help, juz pm me. for those kpo, what happen was motorbike zoomed past me on the left lane, and 5 sec later a taxi change lane, right into the motorbike's lane. after that, i only saw the aftermath, the biker lying on the kerb and taxi driver dismounting to check out. and please dun say NPNT, i have the video but because it doesn't show the accident itself, i think if it matters to you, just pm me and i will try to help. it is doesn't matter to you, then pls dun comment. thank you.
  14. Bros, I don't know whether you guys encountered before. But I have been going in for the past few weeks during the afternoon. And always. Always the car park would be jammed up. I don't know why. Is it because of the renovation outside the exit? I think they might have to either A) Put a traffic light/warden in front of the CP exit to clear traffic B) bigger yellow box? Because the wait. No joke. 20-30 mins just to exit carpark...
  15. Dear fellow drivers on road, My sec school friends and I have recently lost a dear friend on the road. We are all now looking for answers how this could have happened and hopefully seek closure to this. We appreciate all information or eyewitnesses to come forward with any details on what could have happened. Accident occured on Saturday (19 Jan) morning, believed to be around 0845 - 0915hrs, on KJE towards Tuas, after Changi exit. (Vehicle involved is a Honda Red/White CBR1000) On behalf on his family&gf and all his friends, I really really really appreciate it if there's any kind soul out there who can help to shed some light on this. P.S. I had initially wanted to post this on the General Car Discussion but it wasn't allowed. So I guess its because I am new and does not meet the quota. But I still do hope, this thread would gather some attention. I have a thread in HWZ regarding this as well. I would greatly appreciate it if you would be able to circulate and hopefully one day we can find someone who witness the accident so we can all know what happened. 17. A VAN driver in his 50s died after his vehicle collided with a trailer carrying about 50 steel pipes. Some of the metal pipes came loose, smashed the van's windscreen and hit the driver, who had multiple fractures on his face, according to Chinese evening paper Shin Min Daily News. The incident happened on Monday at 12.10pm on the Kranji Expressway, near the Sungei Tengah exit. The van belonged to a food caterer, reported Shin Min. The crash mangled the front of the van. Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) officers had to extricate the driver from the vehicle. 18. Guy, for those people who uses the TPE to changi in the morning, I am sure you know about the upper changi road exit which always jammed. I think LTA has opened a new exit further down in PIE to enter changi north cresent in OCt 2012. This has not really solved the problem. Can we brainstorm what can be done to fix this and then feedback to LTA?? My suggestion 1) change the lane markings. Currently there is two lanes that can enter this exit from TPE and 4 lanes at the first traffic light junction at the upper Changi road. The current lane markings is the inner most lane will split into THREE lanes while the outer lane will conitnue as one lane. LTA should change the lanes such that both exit lanes will split into two lanes each. This will reduce the number of filtering required and helps to populate all four lanes more efficiently 2) change the traffic light timing. The timing should not be lengthened excessively but the frequency should be increased. It is because the four lanes at the junction cannot be fully utilized at the later part of the traffic light timing as there is only 2 lanes from TPE exiting. 3) Close off the left turn into Upper Changi Road north. All cars entering upper Changi Road north should use the new exit at PIE into Changi north cresent. no reason for them to squeeze with the rest of the cars going to upper changi road east. Any other suggestions? LTA feedback number: 18002255582
  19. Front View: Rear View: Used to be only taxi uncles to pull such last minute stunts. Now even youngster also do that.
  20. Don't know what happened but can see a car (or maybe more cars) burning on AYE, just after the Keppel Road exit. It causes a massive traffic jam behind and the fire engine (which came from the other direction) will have a hard time to reach the site even after it can u-turn back. CNY coming bros. Drive safe.
  21. Just now pass by the site at 6pm, the broken glasses seem to be part of the cargo dropped from a truck. the debris was pretty huge, covering most of the exit lane + chevron. Hope no one got stuck in that jam
  22. When they were planning and building the expressways, didn't it occur to them that this will always cause a traffic jam due to lane-changing and possibly high chance of accidents??
  23. Now the traffic is jam due to an accident at the bend. its an accident prone spot. 2 ambulances at scene.
  24. This morning while exiting from TPE(East bound) to Loyang Ave. Saw someone in civilian cloth using a video recorder with tripod filiming for cars did not queue from single lane that cut to join into 2nd lane (outer right). The exit should be one lane and spilt into 2 lanes near to joining Loyang Ave. As soon as a car did that, he will use his walkie talkie to inform another person station behind to report the car number that comitted the offence.
