Now you mentioned, i also notice some bubbles.

Speaking of servicing, my reverse camera is an issue.
it does move around when you accidentally touch it with some force when u want to open the boot.

Any other common issues you guys noticed?

Any good recommendations for in car camera?

Looking for someone that can fix and conceal the wires kind.

:)

I haven't checked carefully for bubbles yet but there is 1 minor one and I still have no idea what grade of film that is, even though I know it's not the expensive one hah.

Your SE didn't throw in a camera for you? I've been looking at Thinkware ones on Qoo10. This is the cheapest full set that I saw Thinkware X150 front Full HD and back HD. The seller provides installation for a feee but I think it's cheaper to do it elsewhere. Blackvue is just too expensive and I'm just not sure about iRoad quality.

I am going for my 1K servicing on Sat. My 3rd tank using manual calculation is 14.5 km/L There is no rear aircon on S-Cross .There is a central arm rest.

After 1K servicing and changing of oil the pickup is better. Now I achieved 16.6 KM/L using manual calculation.

Fuel consumption also depends if you do more city or expressway driving.

I always hear something turning on and off in the car, and from what I rapead from Taiwan forums that is the aircon compressor. Do you guys get that?

I think the noise comes from the wind when on highways come through the doors. Sound proof may reduce the noise. Noise from the tyres on different road conditions. Changing better tyres may improve. So far I could bear it on my new and previous SX.

Think he is not used to the CVT. The Vitara probably would feel better for him.

As for the a/c... I don't remember noticing it when I test drove it. But I suppose an owner who is exposed to it all the time will start to notice things you would miss on a test drive.

He seems to have forgotten it is not made in Japan though.

I asked the service rep about the air-con cut in/out sound when idling during my 1K servicing. The rep said it is like that and normal for the S-Cross. When the car is moving you will not notice it. My previous SX4 had it too but just that it was not a bother.

Congrats for not hearing it LOL.

For me as a front seat passenger, it's very noticeable especially when going up the multi storey (head unit is off).
