Helloooooo,.....X-trailers.

 

Am collecting me sweet lady this week... [gorgeous]

 

Hope to get some pointers and share experiences soon.

Was previously on da Forester,... very good ride and never gave me any problems,..

So hope da x-trail will be jus as good and more.

 

Da only thing I din like during test drive was the foot brake.

Wonder why these thing still exist,....  [:/]  :blink:

Handbrake is old fashioned and takes up space. Foot brake is totally under driver control only. I feel helpless when my inexperienced son drives. I much prefer the finger brake as in the Nissan Qashqai.

Step 1: Buy Integrated TPMS (for Nissan) from taobao via this link:

Cost fluctuates but is now S$122.60 plus S$1.69 shipping (self collect from Raffles Place MRT or your preferred location). I previously paid S$177+. There is agent fee of S$7.46 but waived during promotion period. Parcel should arrive within 2 weeks.

 

Step 2: Go to Chin of RST Auto Accessories to install the TPMS. Call or whatsapp him first. S$40. You can of course do this at any tire shop but Chin has done this for many Qashqai and yesterday for my X-Trail. So he is very familiar.

 

This is really great info!! Hope to get my XT soon so i can install this as well!

If you have already ordered your X-Trail, you can order this product now so that you will have it when your X-Trail arrives. It takes about 2 weeks to arrive.

 

And the price today is S$115.88 with Free Agent Fee!

Any idea when is the facelift X-Trail will reach Singapore?

 

 

Heard from SA,.... most like early next year,...  or maybe 4th Qtr this year.

I know its out in Europe and US.... so should been soon.

 

 

Anyways,... collected me ride.  But parking/reverse camera gone inverted,... left is right and right is left.

SA says have to bring in again to check software,....

 

Anyone had this problem before??

Not having this problem. I rely on the 360 view camera a lot when parking as it really helps.

hmm,... guess I must be the "lucky" one then,...  :wacko:

 

 

Takes a while to get use to da 360 cam,... not easy when its inverted.  [:/]

Try the setting of rear camera with resolution with 'R' behind.

If you are referring to all-round cam, mine does not have a problem. If you mean the rear cam (recording), try this;

Left is right and right is left.....

Gotta let AD check whats wrong,...

 

 

....and ooh,... I just also notice that the dash cam is only recording 3 mins den loop back again,...

so every time it comes to the 3 min mark,... it resets back to 0 sec......

WHY aaah???  *blur* :slow:

1. Did you check the R setting advised by Pocy?

2. Not sure what you mean but all car cameras record short clips of 1 to 3 mins.

1.  Did not check "R" setting... as it was not the rear recording cam i.e. Papago issue.

      Mine is the in-built reverse cam plus 360 cam parking assist view that is inverted.  on my monitor its showing left as right view.

 

2.  Really??... didn't know that the dash cam (Papago) records in 3 mins loop, 

      Sorry,... 1st time having dash cam in car.  :dizzy: Tot normally is like 30mins or so.

maybe can try to turn the rear camera 180 degree.
