No need any performance oil. Shell helix 5w30 is good enough. It's pretty fc friendly too. Alternatively, can too up $17+ for mirt oil or $70+ for motul 300v 5w30 if u feeling rich.

I waited for 1 year+ liao... Still waiting.. Haha

Haha, I also never received after 8mth.

Don't bother at all, when MI can't even follow Subaru recommendation on the right engine oil to use.

w30 only for shell.

Mirt n motul is w40.

This is what I was informed at LK, hence kept to shell.

It seems that they don't give FNA owners a choice of engine oil at all since Shell is the w30 oil they have...

Came back to the car and realised the cabin lights are still on even though the car is locked, on a few occasions.

Now everytime locking the car, I need to check and make sure the lights are off. If they are not off, I need to unlock and lock the doors again.

Anyone experienced this before?

I can see that you are enjoying the car so much that you keep loitering around the car even after you lock it. (I know cause I did that. Hahaha)

The cabin lights is also tied to the proximity sensor/car key sensor. As you approach the car, the cabin lights will turn on even before you unlock the door. If you do not unlock and walk away, the lights will dim to off after abt 3-5 secs.

Well if it's not the above, then you may wanna get your car checked. :D

Hi

Anyone attended the Subaru New Owner workshop? What is expected out of it? Ok to give it a miss?

You get briefed on aftersales services and DUO loyalty programme. Most valuable is the "hands-on" and Q&A with their trainers.

And free Asanoya(sp?) bread.

The cabin light is not on all the while. Is when u approach your ride, the car detected your key present and the cabin light will light up as a form of welcome light

Check your light switch position.

It may be at the position that is permanent On.

Switch it to position that only On when door open.

Thanks to kssg777 also for your reply. Sorry dunno how to reply multiple quotes in one reply.

Tohto, it should not be at permanent On, cos when I check after I lock, the lights goes off.

Though there is one instance when I lock the doors, the lights doesn't go off. I have to unlock and lock again, then it goes off. That's why I suspected something wrong. I din know about the proximity feature. Let me monitor for a while more and see if it is really the proximity feature or really something wrong. Thanks!
