legionx 1st Gear March 3, 2015 Share March 3, 2015 Just got confirmation from my PI, to install struct bar and upgrade brake kit will void the 3 years warranty. Sigh. what they actually meant is since you already get better parts and can perform better don't need warranty anymore. haha just kidding. I think if the workshop providing warranty fixed the extra parts for you the warranty will remain. they usually void warranty as they do not know what is performed at other workshop. ↡ Advertisement

Ongkmeng 2nd Gear March 4, 2015 Share March 4, 2015 Just got confirmation from my PI, to install struct bar and upgrade brake kit will void the 3 years warranty. Sigh. What logic ? Does that mean we cannot mod or zeng the car for better stability or safety ? So if we add PPS or change HU, change tyre rubber or rim, change tint, etc also void warranty ? If I am you, I will skip this PI, He really talks nonsense.
Yaloryalor 5th Gear March 4, 2015 Share March 4, 2015 Bro, wait till i post my ride wif the bodykits & rims...... lol... Poison you more..... Comm from loans and insurance sure have. As salesmen have no proper pay bros, they only have so called few hundreds monthly for transport. As they solely earn from comm when they sell the cars n loans n insurance.... No sales....... no salary..... I understood they taking low basic pay and these are where they got the comm. The last time I told my dealer I will buy the insurance from him if the insurance quote is about the same as I got else I have friend doing insurance will buy from my friend. Last time still need to pay few hundreds of admin fees. Just got confirmation from my PI, to install struct bar and upgrade brake kit will void the 3 years warranty. Sigh. BBK and struct bar will void warranty? More strict than AD Struct bar can easily removed if you wanna claim warranty but what does it affect the car performance? Guilin28 1st Gear March 4, 2015 Share March 4, 2015 Hi Bro Leelk, Stone78, Thanks for adding me in FB. Very interesting discussions there - yes, more poison. Yesterday make the jump - got my Harrier Premium model and delivery latest 20th Mar. Bought the silver color as low maintenance on cleaning (not so obvious of dirtiness). Price below advertized. 5 years warranty or 100K km. Pioneer HU 8650 + GPS + BT thrown in. Want to know more - PM me or via FB PM. Now I can address "Fellow Harrier" in this thread ... before "Harrier Owners". Just got my COE today ... heng. Collecting my ride next Thursday. Guilin28 1st Gear March 4, 2015 Share March 4, 2015 Adding an Active Subwoofer from Pioneer latest - fix under the car seat to give the added Bass. Pioneer TS-WH500A Horizontal-Vertical Transforming (HVT) technology is a truly groundbreaking approach in loudspeaker design. HVT technology uses a unique linkage mechanism, which allows the magnet and voice coil of a speaker to be positioned at the left and the right side of the speaker diaphragm. This opposed to conventional loudspeaker systems, where the magnet and voice coil have to be placed behind the speaker’s diaphragm. HVT technology brings significant advantages in comparison to conventional speaker designs, both sound wise and on a practical level. Distortion: no moreLoudspeakers have to vibrate to turn audio signals into audible music. However, any unwanted vibrations of the loudspeakers will distort the musical signal. The Horizontal-Vertical Transforming topology that is used in the TS-WH500A results in far less unwanted vibrations, compared to traditional speaker designs. As a consequence, the sound is much cleaner and free of harmonic distortion. The thinner, the better? It’s possible to design shallow conventional loudspeakers, but this might lead to poor sound quality with limited dynamics and restricted bass. An HVT speaker however, has an exceptionally thin design, without any sacrifice on sound quality. The 150 watts TS-WH500A active subwoofer measures only 18 x 10 x 6 cm (LxWxH), but offers the same sound pressure level as a much bigger, conventional subwoofer. Thanks to the extremely thin design, the TS-WH500A can go where no other subwoofer has gone before. In many cars, the TS-WH500A can even be installed under the front seats. User profileThe TS-WH500A Active Subwoofer System is the perfect solution for situations in which the existing in-car audio system lacks the power, depth and quality to reproduce the music as it was originally intended by the artists or when space is too restricted to install a traditional subwoofer. Ddarksire Clutched March 5, 2015 Share March 5, 2015 Hi everyone I will be a new harrier driver soon. Waiting for my ride. This thread had been very informative and thank you all who contributed. Can I check if anyone has successfully wired the HU to work with the controls on the sterling wheel? I would like to answer phone calls connected to HU via Bluetooth by pressing on a pick up button on the sterling wheel? And also the volume and up down change FM controls. There are many buttons on the sterling wheel. What are they wired for?

If you are worried about HU can connect to steering controls... either you add another module or you get the Kenwood.... as Kenwood no problems wif steering controls.... Ericlin Clutched March 5, 2015 Share March 5, 2015 (edited) Any bros know what's harriers CO2 emissions? Vincar website indicates 122-133, if it's true, meaning harrier is A3 grade, thus entitled with 10k rebate, is it correct? In such case, if Jul CEVS policy changes, the price of harrier also likely goes up? Edited March 5, 2015 by Ericlin

Leelk 1st Gear March 5, 2015 Share March 5, 2015 bro Leelk, i didnt get it, if government raise the bar, the rebate could be much less than current 10k, right? You see right indeed. Based on estimated emission amount, it should received 5k rebate under new CVES scheme, under A4 category, which mean Harrier will be 5k more exp.
