coolyang Neutral Newbie June 15, 2019 Share June 15, 2019 A month ago, bought a 2nd hand Vezel non-hybrid. Any bros/sis know its side mirrors are the "Honda's Expanded-View Driver's Mirror" type? The type that is more convex of its outer sides? Sorry to ask a noob question and also eye a bit shoot bird so cannot verify if it's convex or not. sammi91 2nd Gear June 15, 2019 Share June 15, 2019 Hi bros, New to this forum. Recently decided to get a Vezel Petrol over a HRV, but from the forums, abit worried about being a carrot to the PIs. Any advice on the key things to look out for before going with any particular PI? TIA.
QQDreamer 4th Gear June 16, 2019 Share June 16, 2019 the thing about PIs is after many yrs if there is a recall. and your PI is closed down than it will really be all by urself. safer bet is to get a agent unit. hopefully if there is a recall, the PIs are still around to resolve the recall issue. yzyz Neutral Newbie July 4, 2019 Share July 4, 2019 Hi all new to this forum too. Currently have 225/45-18 Michelin PS3 but I find the ride too harsh plus noisy. Any recommendation for alternative tyre for more comfort and reduced road noise, while maintaining good balance for handling? Are Primacy 4s any good? Ok to downsize to 17 inch but not too much size difference from the Vezel's stock 215/60-16 wheels for speedometer accuracy.. Thanks in advance!

Yymail22 2nd Gear July 14, 2019 Share July 14, 2019 When getting a resale Vezel, which is worst: previously used as private hired car (Uber, Grab) or a typical leasing car? Price is attractive and matches my wallet or I would not have considered and go for owner-used unit. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences. Have a great weekend!

I would say both are equal risk unless you can ascertain which one was rented/leased out less, but it’s kinda pointless finding this out as well cause each driver will drive differently.. Less mileage would be good in this case, but there’s also a chance for adjusted odometer.. Leased car may have less wear and tear of the passenger area if it’s not used for UG purposes. Best thing is to do the selection with an experienced mechanic or if they allow STA or AAS inspection to check for any accidental damage that affects the structure integrity.

Yymail22 2nd Gear July 27, 2019 Share July 27, 2019 Hi. Is there a stockist or two in Singapore who supplies spare parts for Vezel (or Honda cars)? And is there any specialist workshop as well? Thanks for your input.
kayabread82 1st Gear July 28, 2019 Share July 28, 2019 Hi new vezel driver here. I saw there S mode and L mode, just to check, to change to this mode, do I need to depress the brake or can just change it? I know for reverse and Park I will require to, but during drive mode, u need to constant driving it, so still require to depress the brake first before changing to sport mode or up hill the L mode? No, you don’t have to engage the brakes to engage S or L mode, but the general recommendation will be to not depress on the accelerator when you need to engage those two or you’ll end up on a very high rev, do not engage while on high speed as well

RamanThanasekar Neutral Newbie July 31, 2019 Share July 31, 2019 (edited) Hi all, I have a honda vezel, mileage is about 69000km. Recently all my warning indicators came up. They called it the christmas tree lights or something like that when i went to the workshop. They suspected it was the spark plug so i changed that and the problem did not go away, I then changed the coil as well, the problem went off but as i starting driving home the warning lights have shown up again. So i brought to another workshop and they said its carbon build up, got them to clean the fuel injectors as they suspected it was that. After that , the lights are still there, even after diagnose with the computer. Any suggestions as to what maybe wrong? The car feels like its misfiring when i stop at traffic lights. Like a light vibration and then stops, then again a vibration and it stops. Starting from the traffic light or stopping at a traffic light has no issues, no vibrations, just that when its idle. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Edited July 31, 2019 by RamanThanasekar ↡ Advertisement
