Thks. Wax is one thing. I think swirl marks are from the cloth used. I am using Carglo.

Oh, your car paint work is scratched by the car cover. All these are light swirls. I think any wax will do.

Mason016 Supersonic September 16, 2022 Share September 16, 2022 If very light, can use Meguairs Scratch X 2.0. If you want slightly heavy duty, use Meguairs ultimate compound.

BoneStock 5th Gear September 16, 2022 Share September 16, 2022 @Axela525 If not too serious can use Meguiar's Ultimate Polish. If not, you can try Meguiar's Ultimate Compound
shrjun 5th Gear September 16, 2022 Share September 16, 2022 Wax just covers over swirls. Need to polish it off first then can wax the car

Thks. like one of the bros here said, wax is a protective layer and will not remove swirl markings. you will likely need a polish/compound. meguiars compound is the "strongest", the comes meguiars polish. if it is light swirls you can start with the polish, and if it does not remove the swirls to your satisfaction you can try the compound. another you can try is autoglym super resin polish which is not bad and quite simple to work. apply the polish, let it dry to a haze and then buff off. Vulkan 2nd Gear September 17, 2022 Share September 17, 2022 Yes you can try the Meguiars polish first, if the swirls do not go off you can try the compound. Afterwards then wax. I also use autoglym super resin polish for very minor scuffs and scratches, with the Sonax ceramic coating afterwards. ↡ Advertisement
