Ancelotti won't be at Madrid next season. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

That’s a good point.

Regardless, I still think we need to sign a RB. Let’s make use of this chance to sign someone “proper” on the defensive side of things.

I doubt club would do so. CB has been deputising at right back.  He is more than capable. Likely promoting an academy to cover for RB.

It is in left back, striker that we have pressing need.

Should he go onto open top bus?

How would the reception at home in the last two games?

Social media feedbacks isn't too kind toward him though.

Apparently a contract was offered to him back in April 2024.

Klopp left in May 2024.

It keep dragging...slot came in....contract improved with the highest pay right back in Premier league on the table.  Drag.....on..to run down the contract.

We can now focus on the the transition of TAA. Conor Bradley still feels raw and his injury record is not good.  I think Pool needs to invest in this position. Likewise for the LB berth. The defenders will all at sea in the game at chelsea. So not looking good if you ask me whether the current squad is good enough to sustain another title challenge next season. Both City and Arsenal will certainly strengthen now that they are playing catch up.

Come on guys. While it is sad to see TAA wanting to leave at the end of the season, he has been a good servant to LFC and we should wish him the best of luck. He has also contributed to the success of this season and should not be deprived from joining in the celebrations.

@Kopites Not sure about the rest. But I think a Klopp statue is overdue.

There is a piece of wall with full Klopp painting (mural) still there. :we-all-gonna-die:

Won't happen now. 🤣🤣

Klopp's Preference:

He has stated he doesn't want a statue, saying he wants to live for another 30-40 years and doesn't want to pass anything like that...

To me TAA is history. We have to move forward.  He has served this club for 20 years so there should not be any hard feelings at all.  People come and people will leave. The club will continue to push forward for more glory days ahead.

I am all for getting a more orthodox RB which can defend and contribute in the attacking play. Not the other way round of attacking and contributing to defending.  A full back must be able to defend first then contribute in the attack.  In fact, under Slot, it is clear both full backs are more subdued in the overlapping runs.  Overall, the defending has improved this season and this could be the main reason.

actually, do Shankly and Paisely have any statue? Klopp had indeed done a lot for Pool, but in terms of achievement, he hasn't exceeded the 2 greats.

TAA going has been kinda expected. His crosses are good, but his defense has been suspect. Should take the opportunity to tweak the system so that the team can be less reliant on his crosses, and can give more confidence to the defense...

He will failed in RM ... :we-all-gonna-die:

Those players leaving Liverpool for greener pasture (money - $$$$$$) failed badly elsewhere after doing well in Pool. :slow:

Players not so well in Pool thrive elsewhere for 1 or 2 season and then faded away quietly. :wut:

The Anfield curse..... :XD:

Considering that Klopp won the 2019-2020 league title after 30 years of drought and not forgetting laying the foundations for this year's victory, I don't see why not a statue (or at least a bust). 30 years' wait is virtually 1/3 of a fan's lifetime if you get what I mean.

RM want TAA to join early before his contract ends to play in club world cup.

Liverpool very nice say can.

If TAA forgot his one month salary €900,000 and RM pay €1,000,000

:D

Indeed there hasn't been many cases of success for players who left Pool.

Over the years, the notable rare success stories i can think of are:

Suarez, Sterling...

OK, since Shankly and Paisley already have statues, then Klopp is not 'overstepping' if there's one for him too.

When i expressed reservation earlier, it was relative to Shankly and Paisley. It would certainly not be fair if Klopp gets one while they didn't.

Yup, the 30 wait was just too damn long... was actually wondering whether it will ever happen again - such was the disappointment accumulated over the years...

this is only right. And more importantly, RM can afford right? Pay up lah. then can give free coke (better dun give beer) to spectators for some matches...

At least, the title wasn't bought. Klopp's accolades may be more significant should one club be found guilty of the 115 financial breaches filed. I reckon the fans would be screaming for point deductions for previous seasons.
