Carbon82 Moderator 15 hours ago Share 15 hours ago Yes, we now have 25 Chinese passenger car brands here (including the now defunct Neta and recently MIA JMEV). More to come if you follow new launches in the other RHD market such as Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Malaysia, and such. Arcfox, found in 2017, is a sub-brand under BAIC group, making it older than brands like iCar / iCaur, IM, Jaecoo, Omoda, Ora, Zeekr, etc. Volt Auto to distribute BAIC and Arcfox China car brands in Singapore Move reflects BAIC’s further expansion into right-hand drive markets in Asia-Pacific Car group Volt Auto has been appointed as the authorised distributor in Singapore for two brands from major Chinese carmaker Beijing Automotive Group Company – BAIC and Arcfox. SGCM928 5th Gear 6 hours ago Share 6 hours ago Ehm all Chinese EV seems to look like each other in some way. Take this Arcfox T1 for example. It has the vibes of Avatar (the lower bumoer), BYD Atto 2 (over size and shape), and the C-pillar look similar to Dongfeng Box. To survive in out brutal market, it will dependent on pricing, model offering and probably marketing. Look at Seres, which is one of the top 10 EV group in China, they have sold <10 Seres 3 (8 cat A + 1 cat B to be exact) in the past 2 years, how long more can they tong? steveting99 3rd Gear 5 hours ago Share 5 hours ago BAIC / Arcfox is going to ask Volt Auto to do what they've been doing for Dongfeng, plus incentives to do more. Move the metal and do over +500 units of sales in under two years. Then reach +1,000 unit of sales within four years.
