Oh, paiseh paiseh, I thot you asking abt the tyres only. blush.gif

Haven't got down to taking photos of them. Will post when I do so. smile.gif

Oh yah, forgot to mention that Yap Bros service is indeed very good! thumbsup.gif Very professional and honest people. They took good care of my tyres and rims, esp. with the way they mounted the nuts and tightened with torque wrench.

The Wheel Alignment was also well done! The handling of my car is much better now. Had my 1st chance of peeping at the underside of my car. My car looks quite big from the underside! laugh.gif

Not to mention the free top up of Nitrogen for the lifetime of my tyres! This is the way to go to make sure that customers come back to you over and over again. Only thing though is they pumped the tyres to 250kPa, felt rock solid till I release some N2.

I also changed my ageing battery (45AH I think) to the Global maintenance-free 60AH type. It fitted into the battery bay and bracket very nicely. Good thing Lasers has big battery bay and bracket. The engine now starts within 3 cranks, compared to 5-6 previously. That's a good feeling.

Only regret is I didn't bring my digicam along to snap photos of my car - the underside, the rotors/brakes/suspension assemblies for both front and rear wheels, for future reference.

Thanks to all the MCFers here who recommended this place! nod.gif

I may be missing something here, but shouldn't it be one crank?

Thanks! Yes, do feel that 15" is much more suitable.

laugh.gif Me not the hardworking sort. Had sign up for this polishing package, send my car there abt once every 1-2 months. Actually it looks much shinier and nicer in photos.

It was $750 for the package, which includes:

4 rims

4 tyres

chrome nuts

chrome valves

Nitrogen top-up - lifetime

Computerised 4 Wheel Alignment

Thanks Phochem! I think it's an illusion because of the dark colour, will see more reflections than say, a lighter coloured car. I don't actully wash the car that often, sometimes for as long as once every few weeks! blush.gif

Thanks Chippz! Yes, everything from them. I believe you can also choose other tyres, but at higher price I presume.

Good thing my colleague wanted to upgrade from his 13" steel rims, so I sold the wheels to him for $50, and he bought a new set of 14" tyres from them. They should be about 3.5 yrs old. Is $50 too much to charge? unsure.gif

Kumho 712 don't have '60' profile, biggest is '55' so he may have to upsize, +1, to 15" to use profile '55' sly.gif
