Neutral Newbie

Hi Guys, I am new to this forum here. Got alot of interesting and useful tips down here.

By the way, i like to find out from you guys abt my problem with my car.

I drive a Nissan Sunny SS LE 1.6M. My mileage is at ard 8500KM. Recently, I noticed that after parking, i see water dripping from the under carriage of my car just beneath the bonnet. But the dripping stops after some time. What is the likely cause of this? Is it normal ? or do i have to send my car for a service technician to look at ?

I hope you guys can solve my problem.

hi...you could check to confirm that the water drips from the aircon pipes down to the ground and not from somewhere else. Open bonnet to see where the condensation drips to after running the aircon for some time.

To be 100% sure, u could place a white sheet of paper under the engine compartment and see the colour of the water condensation that drips on the paper.

So long as it is clear colour, I think it'll be ok. Usually nothing to worry about.

Worry only if u see black, brown, red (pink), green or blue...and sometimes yellow.

My guess u r driving a B14 model ? quite low mileage compared to mine.....

Hi Vanan,

Welcome to MCF, we hope you enjoy your stay here. And do join us for meetups.

Aside: nothing to worry about, it is just condensation from the A/C.
