Assassin Clutched September 5, 2003 Share September 5, 2003 but it's a one time investment, right no choice what, 'Mar-ce-lee' ley, after market parts sure expensive one since the owner already can afford the car liao Yeah...you can say that again...one time investment only...after that...cannot afford again liao. Each pair of brake pads cost ~S$150 and a disc rotor costs ~S$250.
Assassin Clutched September 5, 2003 Share September 5, 2003 oic maybe i never drive a real supercharged car before that time when i tried the C200 in Ubi , never had chance to ram it , wasted The C200K supercharger only kicks in from 2500rpm onwards. Sometimes even cruising on the highway you wont get the supercharger kicking in.

Assassin Clutched September 8, 2003 Share September 8, 2003 If we can only find some stockists that can give us reasonable prices and not exhorbitant prices.
Super7 Turbocharged September 9, 2003 Share September 9, 2003 that i agreed the FC for the X is quite high but it was fun driving it , because it gets so stable at high speeds the 'supercharge' feeling also have in the X after ard 3000 rpm shiok when the kick comes in the fc of Jags seems high ...... but i guess if i worry about fc, i should be looking at toyota/nissan etc etc and not merc or jag..... Super7 Turbocharged September 9, 2003 Share September 9, 2003 but it's a one time investment, right no choice what, 'Mar-ce-lee' ley, after market parts sure expensive one since the owner already can afford the car liao quite a few people buy merc coz it's easy to sell and in case they need cash flow, they can sell it or pledge the logcard with money lenders.... lots of small time contractors do that.... Super7 Turbocharged September 9, 2003 Share September 9, 2003 (edited) he rolls his $$$ to pay up the merc, yet he knows he can pledge the logcard when the need arises and borrow $$$ to sustain his buziness,.... when some of his less discerning suppliers/clients see him moving around in a merc, they think they are doing buziness with someone trustworthy... it just goes in circle....
